Having a cap on percentage of income does the same But the smaller teams won’t go for that as the reason for a wage cap isn’t about fairness but hamstringing the larger clubs in the division.
Have to agree , the smaller clubs score big when clubs such as ours roll in to town and it’s like a Wembley day out when they come to the SOL ,needless to say that’s why they want us to remain in their league .
 
If a club really wants a player in sure they'll find a way to compensate him.

Overally for our club its a challenge but its the rifht challenge - be the best at recruiting & scouting abd reap the rewards. We've avoided doing for 10 years this and its cost us millions and our reputation. Im all for a new approach
We don’t need it to be enforced on us though. That is the whole point.
