To be fair, you say you want some genuine information, but then you scoff at everything others are saying. If by genuine, you mean information that is backed up with printed, quoted sources then you might as well just wait until its announced. Until then all we'll get is people who may be hearing things and you can take or leave it. The fact that it's prehab and rubberface who are talking about it has got me positive because I know both away from the message board, know who their likely sources are and know they're not bullshiters. If you choose not to believe them then obviously that's up to you, but when lads are giving what they hear (refreshingly without any of the vague language that certain others use) there's no need to spend too long trying to question or debunk it, it's there to be taken at face value or ignored, feel free to do either

Like I said, they might just be genuinely passing on stuff they are hearing but for me the inconsistency in the last few days makes me question the validity of it.

Plus those two arent even singing from the same hymn sheet and what one has been saying directly contradicts the other

It might seem like they directly contradict each other, but they're just hearing things from different people. Put simply one is hearing things from someone linked to the club, one from someone linked to one of the groups trying to buy the club. If one hears that Storey is in pole position and one hears that he isn't in with a shout of owning us it doesn't mean one is making it up. Those linked to a bid might hear that someone else is in pole position if the seller wants to pressure them, whereas others in the club will know its not genuine.

Think of it in a similar way to someone selling you their house. They might want you to up your offer, so they tell you there's a potential buyer that's prepared to offer more. You'd tell someone "I might not get the house, someone else is serious". The person selling would tell his mate "I should sell it, but I'm telling the buyer there's another serious offer to try and get more money out of him, I've made it up like but I hope he bites". If the person you've spoken and the person they've spoken to were to randomly post on here about it, you'd think they were contradictory so one must be wrong. In reality they're both passing on what they've heard.

Put simply, I firmly believe that Donald is telling MGs group that Storey is in pole position unless they make changes (or was saying it until Storey rocked up in Sunderland which might have changed things). At the club, people probably know that he won't seriously be entertained. From that I'd expect that, unless MGs people walk away, they'll end up owning the club.

My club is Sunderland AFC, not some shite brand.

What is it that makes you think Mickey Gray has got to that stage when a couple of weeks ago he was scratting around looking to see if anyone who be interested
