I’m getting increasingly worried that he is in pole position. I have no idea who or what @rubberface knows, but you don’t get a disciplinary at work for spouting unsubstantiated bollocks on here. I’d be in trouble

Its becoming pretty clear the bloke is very determined to be our next owner. If he stumps up the cash SD will sell him it. Of that i have no doubt

Not working there anymore mate. Doors shut unexpectadly October 23rd last yr. 23 yrs service n just shit on. Been there since i left school. Still out of work now, this pandemic couldn't have come at a worse time🙈🙈

Its not really that outlandish. If he was serious he wouldn't be courting attention like this. Same thing as boasting that you've sold 90m energy drinks when it's actually 30 times less. He wants people to think he's a success. I'll be staggered if he ever gets near the club, I doubt he's even made a bid

I'm not saying he isn't attetion seeking or full of shit but its a big leap to suggest he's in cahoots with SD to take the pressure off him

Maybe not cahoots, when I say mutually beneficial I just mean I think he decided to get some publicity, and whilst Donald could easily say "he's full of shit", it suits him not to, because it makes people think there's another serious bidder around. I seriously doubt they'd meet in Roker if there were serious discussions, it's incredibly public. Which like I say, suits both. I don't think Donald phoned him to initiate it or anything, but when he started tweeting about Sunderland I think he became a useful idiot for Donald
