Barnes does reiterate at the beginning of Total Sport that the club are still in a period of exclusivity with prospective buyers.

So despite all the doom and gloom it seems like things are ticking on with one group.

Barnes told my dad today that Stewart Donald has changed his phone number so he can no longer get hold of him. So he probably doesn’t know tbh.

No, that's him alright.

But, I mean, I still think he isn't the leading bid. If someone arranges a business meeting by the f***ing seafront, gans to it in a f***ing retro Sunderland kit and spends half the day - allegedly - powering around the town, that someone is someone who wants to be seen. Why would he want to be seen if he were in pole position? Surely he's just trying to drum up fan support? Whole thing is too batshit PR crazy.

He's good at guerrilla PR like, mind.
