Not difficult to say the right things, especially to a support desperate to get behind someone progressive. He also appears to have made his career out of convincing people he’s the real deal without much evidence he actually is. Screams snake oil salesman to me.

I got the impression he said the people with charges were making it awkward but he wanted to pay them off. Maybe as FPP have the final say on who buys it, they have a preferred buyer and are not wanting to sell to Storey so making it awkward for him? I didn't pick up that it was FPP who had exclusivity.

I listened back cos people were saying he said it. What he said was he cant comment on the current ownership but the reality is that there are groups out there who have charges over the club that want to nick it and have no interest in the future of the club
