I was in there last night, the special was on, 3 courses for £11.95 (3rd course is coffee) had Chicken 65 to start and Bombay Chilli Chicken for my main, both absolutely superb....

With a few soft drinks and a Naan to share cost me and the wife £14.95....

That’s superb how they’re keeping special on and the incentive. It’s a great restaurant.

Out in Newcastle this lunchtime, the queues for Nando’s, Wagamama’s and Five Guys were ridiculous. Why the hell would people want to support foreign multi billion pound companies and completely ignore hundreds of local cafe, pubs and restaurants. Total scum

Went to Goa at the seafront yesterday. Dunno if it was just because they were absolutely stowed out but I wasn't that impressed, unfortunately. Chicken wasn't great and my rice delivered about five minutes after the rest of my food.

Everyone raves about it, but I've been twice and both times it was shite. The food was no better than anywhere else, and the service was rubbish.

I went to the one in Haswell Plough, remember asking waiter what he would recommend and said I like a lamb curry etc. He then advised me to go for the seafood special, by far the most expensive thing on the menu. Aye, cheers mate.

Went to both the rat inn in Anick and Panis in Newcastle last week . Both spot on and both have taken huge steps to trade in line with current guidance.

Just tried to book our little local Italian and they're absolutely jammed with bookings. Glad for them cos they've been through a rough time and are lovely lovely people.
