Most of us aren't that bothered he improved the stadium and facilities but in capable of keeping managers and bought in overpaid past it players we had players like cureton and Deon burton Gary mcsheffrey all played a handful of games on big wages. Since Stewart left we had to buy more local young lads and build like that. Pick up players from the local big academies like Portsmouth Southampton etc. Much more enjoyable see these young lads progress then 34 35 year olds who only come for final pay day.

He's probably done alot of money here and I doubt he'd get the price he wanted. Maybe, just maybe, he's realised throwing money at signings (Grigg) doesn't work!!

I can see Stewart doing some sort of deal where he gets like 20m up front then certain amounts in future if Sunderland go up etc only way I can see him even getting close to what he's asking for.
