Bit harsh to criticise Carse in his first outing of the season. Genuinely quick bowlers are often expensive, but I’m making the prediction now that he’ll take wickets in the second innings ;).

Fought back again quite well IMO, once again the bowlers have dragged us back in with a chance.

For the second week running we’ll have to make the highest score of the game just to make it interesting, but if we can get a lead of 200 I’m tipping us to win this one ;)

think that's optimistic, they're gonna be looking to get a very decent lead here 100-150 deficit is massive to make up

When I posted it I felt we could dismiss them for a deficit of around 80 or fewer.

We put ourselves in a great position of overturning a 90 odd run deficit last week, before capitulating - I don’t think it’d have been an impossibility to have expected us to score 270 or so tomorrow for a 200 run lead and then put them under pressure on a deteriorating pitch.

Unfortunately we were fairly ineffective with the new ball and that lead is likely to be 120 or so now.

Long way back.

i was hoping if i posted that we'd take their last two wickets cheaply

Div 1 teams we are losing to, being fair. Lancs went up undefeated last season.

never mind, at least we are getting g some cricket

I’m going to get to at least one if possible. Love a night at the t20s
Haven't been as much since my grandad passed 5 or 6 years ago I used to have membership, I still go with dad occasionally and gran it's a shame I don't know people that go don't think I'd enjoy it without the social aspects. Plus if family don't go it's a trek from Sunderland on the bus.

Murky conditions in Ch le St this morning with a bit drizzle in the air - should be fun batting!
Edit- sun now out and turning a bit sticky...game all over by 2.30pm?? :(
