I'm not sure how Wood might have fared. I do know that Archer has been innocuous, mainly.

Really fancy a latte now
This women is embarrassing
Spelled "woman" wrong there.

You also spelled "competent and informative" wrongly.

If you want to have a go at women commentators then Isa Guha on BBC is a terrible state-the-bleeding-obvious commentator, but Ebony is pretty good.

And also "competent and informative"

Yes but Isa is quite easy on the eye and therefore is fitting her role perfectly.

I think he probably will come good also, but he was poor in the two winter tours and hasn't offered much this summer so far either. The selectors got it wrong with Wood by picking him for the docile Southampton pitch and then leaving him out for the next 3 tests on an Old Trafford pitch which is usually quicker.
I was reading last week that actually his record for the number of tests he's played stacks up against pretty much anyone who's played for England in terms of number of five fors and a couple of other of statistics (that I can't remember). Just because he hasn't lived up to the huge hype doesn't mean he isn't actually bedding in quite well.

Overall he's an asset and we've seen how good he can be, my opinion is however that he's had more poor games than good ones, particularly since the Ashes last year. At present he's inconsistent but when on form he's our best bowler.
She's so BBC - desperate to be inclusive at all costs. Whereas Ebony is so Sky - plain excellent.

Jokes aside, I like Isa and find Ebony pretty poor but each to their own mate.

Lydia Greenway hasn't been too bad on The Verdict when I've seen her but she's got a bit of an annoying voice.

I don't disagree with that but I don't think he'll get that consistency by not playing, bit of a long term investment.
