Couple of magnificent leaves there mind. :D

Also kudos to the umps, not even bothering to put the stump back in. Fuck that, lunch time. Last one to the buffet is a Lancastrian.

164/8

199 All out.

We need to bat really well, anything over 150 to chase will be tough.

Yes, I see the flaw in this plan.

Very much still in the game, but we have to be very pro-active in this innings IMO. Plenty rotation of strike, looking to put the bowlers under pressure by not letting them settle on a particular line or length.

Obviously I don’t mean gan out swinging from ball 1  but if we keep the scoreboard ticking, build a couple of partnerships, the pendulum will begin to point our way I reckon.

It seems a very sporting wicket and I think a lead of anything above 180 would see us in with a good chance.

106/2 at stumps, a lead of 10.

Good to battle back and put ourselves in the picture, still a long way to go though.

Weather looks good for tomorrow, and then overcast with showers for Tuesday.

Nowt wrong with Steel at 3 imo. Our middle order need protecting from the new ball, Steel will do that.
3 should dictate the tempo of the innings. He had a decent spell when he first arrived however that seems a long time ago. Doesnt have the tools to bat 3
