they do, and the buying side haven't covered themselves in glory with this approach. Said before but all of this could have been avoided if they'd satisfied the PL that anti-piracy measures were in play, accepted and abided by the WTO report and so on.

Good news is that there's loads of reports that the deal isn't over, so we can look forward to another 17 weeks of f***ing nonsense.

Ahh, fair fucks.

Sounds like Staveley wants the fans to put pressure on the premier league to let it through even if they can’t satisfy whatever test is put infront of them?

Not too sure how that would go down but the premier league would look weak and like jokers to people outside of NUFC

No way will the Premier league change any stance on this.

Well they would look ridiculous if they do. It would be the same tests and the same issues. If they can’t pass these tests after 16 weeks then surely they’re looking at technicalities to get through?

I'll be joining you.
Never let a bit of bad news get in the way of a good ale, that's what I say.

cheers for the kind offer.
I'll just stick to my couple of days if you don't mind though.
Had the take over gone through I would have had my couple of days of gloat so only fair you lads get yours.
Fair play. 👍

Steve Wraith on Talksport now saying "we've been put through the mill, we've been locked down, some of us have lost relatives and through all of this we have had to deal with the Premier Leagues handling of this takeover". Eee the poor buggers. They've had it so tough.
So the sadness of losing relatives and having to deal with a take over of a football club in the same breath. Is he for real 🙈

Where are the PL headquarters ? There must be some mags outside there today ! It’s a lovely day and they adore the attention for their unique cause !!

PL and BEIN deserve criticism too mind you. If this was dead in the water before it started, PL should have said so there and then instead we've had 17 weeks of obfuscation and misdirection from them. BEIN and by extension QATAR have been throwing obstacles up here, there and everywhere too.

Were they not giving the Saudi's ample opportunity to correct the piracy issue? That's how it seems to me. What is the advantage to the PL stringing it along?

Throughout all of this is, the fans have had no power to influence the PL. I'm not sure a strongly worded letter from Steve Wraith is going to reverse their decision.
Who? The crayonicle and Vicar Wraith? Or was it the tyre kicker?

more desperation than knowledge.
Chronicle, Gazette, Mirror, and a few others. Thing is, this deal is dead. My honest opinion is that when the MENA broadcast deal goes to tender the Saudis will bid for it and look to buy a PL club. could be us, could be Man Utd, who knows. But this deal? this deal is dead.
