2nd April
nah mate that was a different story, SD was about to break the story about a consortium who had decided to have a go and join along with FFP but the story written by the chronicle about the Mags takeover which was old news took the gloss of it, Charlie got pissed off by the mag/chron and pulled the story, just as well EH they pulled out 2 weeks after.
The jaw dropping bit was who was to be involved, some on here know the persons who were interested. JAW DROPPING IF IT CAME OFF, but like loads in footy things change.

Is this jaw dropping better than the previous jaw dropping?

Look for the last time I DO NOT support what SD has done in no way shape or form, he has fucked the club, BUT NOT INTENTIONALLY.
He took on this money pit stopped the massive financial drain and for just over 14 month steadied the ship, if Ross the toss had not bottled it, we MIGHT have gone up, it would have been be so different at this time.
Short when he left paid most of the debt, but he still left loads of hidden shit, and those ongoing contracts and i have been told about 3 of them they have crippled us financially, for the next 3 years.
SAFC fans to answer your point are great, well they are great in numbers of attendance at games, but look at the SOL 15-20 mins to go at every home game the stadium empties mate.
Yes at away games WE are fantastic cos i go to a lot of away games and the support is brilliant and we stay till the end.
There are more ways to be great fans than just turning up, some home games i exclude the South west corner and the new Roker the rest of the ground its deathly silent.
So no we cant blame the fans all the time, and yes SD has in no small amount been wrong in loads of his decisions, these have all been documented but i still think losing between £25-30 million a year after he(Short) closed the chq book we would have gone under. IMHO
Bob, what’s the jaw dropping stuff ?

Nothing happened at the time and trying to attribute jack rodwell as jaw dropping is silly imo mate.

Pointless arguing Bob.
no thats just your opinion, same as i thought SAFC appointing a CEO when we at the time had SD saying he was staying, things change as i said, it was a change at the top.

To be fair you did call a change at the top and also “wait to see who he gets rid of”. However the jaw dropping appointment was made when Rodwell was in place and I can’t for the life of me think of one we have made

Timeline isn't opinion Bob.

Nor is Mcinnes or countless other tall tales.

I dont want to ruin anyones fun but it's understandable to me that a made up version of events is questioned by so many.
