This is something that can't be denied.

It's the same on both sides is quite frankly rubbish.

We have watched them nearly win the league. Play in champions League and Europa League. Playing in cup finals.

We never held parties hoping they'd lose.

We were a relegation threatened side against Man City and they were so shit scared we'd pull off a shock they held a party.

Yes you get obsession on both sides but there is a much higher proportion of Newcastle fans bothered about Sunderland than there are Sunderland fans bothered about Newcastle.

If the takeover goes through life will go on. Many of us witnessed the Keegan era in its pomp. The reaction if Sunderland ever had such a peroid of success would see suicides on Tyneside

and before they know it, another season comes and goes with another millimetre of dust in the boardroom trophy cabinet.

I guess that viewing it from this side of the fence, I just don't see that. I see knackers on here constantly talking about Newcastle, constantly bickering with the Newcastle fans. I see twitter accounts ostensibly focused on Sunderland who tweet as much about Newcastle's troubles. So many Sunderland fans who include something about Newcastle in their online name. I don't see the same with Newcastle fans, but I'm not daft enough to think they don't exist. There must be f***ing loads of kids and weirdos who have something like @JACK90SMB or whatever, but I haven't seen it.

Tell you what, actually, there's an oddity on toontastic called essemmbeeofsunderland who we all thought was a mackem on the windup. He's a joke on there.

It's not a lie by the way, I've said I've not seen it. Don't doubt there's loads of knackers, but I think it's more even than people are making out.

A few 100 turning up for a sunderland game against gillingham
Man city day at felling cricket club (league cup final day)
Various relegation parties organised - then cancelled
Pretty much every away game and few home games during 18/19 season you would see Newcastle fans at games involving Sunderland.
Aye there is people on social media who who take the piss on both sides but in real life your fans actions show how obsessed your fans are with Sunderland.
