Always be banter but the obsession is by far heavily weighed on your side.

Obviously not all fans but you have a lot of 92er numpties who think you are something that you arent.

The ones who joined or turned coat and to prove how much they love "the toon" they have to put down Sunderland.

These are the majority of mag posters that you get on here.

Even worse as they are more than likely virgins who never leave the house so spend most their day on a Sunderland forum.

It's weird behaviour..
I don't think that's true. I think there's a similar level of obsession and obsessed people on both sides. All you need do is scroll through social media, or on here. ;)

I'll be hanging round for a day or two either way then I'll probably be off.
If it goes through I'll stay for a a couple of days to take part in the discussion about whats next.
If it doesn't I'll hang around for a couple of days so you lot can enjoy your gloat then i'll be off.
sorry what is the point you are making I must be missing it?

From memory I think i said that in reply to what someone said my reaction would be regarding how the take over went, I thought that then and I still think it now.

Apologies if SEB... and Im only guessing. But is this a backlash to the Saudis being told they cant buy Newcastle?
I'm worried that this might be the case.

You are proof of it...

I do agree get both on either side but heavily weighed in your favour.

I give up - you are so inconsistent.

92ers 🤬 I never subscribed to keegan mania although I was mostly working in Germany at the time. My happiest nufc memories come from the Joe Harvey era. Yes I know it means nothing to you guys but at the time, as a kid, it meant a helluva lot to me.

Good luck with that I've already asked to get my @BigPete back but get no reply.
I’m not too sure how it works but if the same mods are looking after the whole of RTG it must be one hell of a job. There are really busy forums here and I suppose if we lose a login, it will be our own fault and up to us to rectify it.
BTW I consider this to be the best football forum on the net by far and I would love to see you guys bought out and back where you belong. Who didnt check for the derby dates as soon as the fixtures were released. They were always eagerly anticipated and without them something is missing. Before someone else says it, I’ll save them the bother. 6 in a row. 😏
No, see my post #5348.

Thank for the reply Pancho

I'm not obsessed with Sunderland at all. Check through my posts, I overwhelmingly talk about Newcastle, not Sunderland. As I said to Banks, I enjoy discussing football with people who disagree with me, or come from different points of view. After Newcastle, which fanbase talks about Newcastle more than any other? You lot.

Check the number of posters on here who have FTM, Ashley In, 6 in a row stuff in their names. You'll see the same on twitter. There's f***ing loads of fans whose support of their own club is inexorably tied to their dislike/opposition/contempt of the local rival.

The major problem with your lot was going from CL and Man U as rivals to Sunderland being a big threat. Still chews you up.

Nothing football related chews me up. You won 6 in a row, fair play. Hopefully, in whats left of my life, I’ll see us get a chance to redress that.

Not sure on the time line but I suspect they didn't have any subscribers in KSA in the first half due to BeoutQ. Even if it was half a season it doesn't sit right.

We have gone over he KSA/PIF link before. As is typical in KSA, politicians sit on multiple boards, and they are essentially one of the same.

Now we have another scenario where a state broadcaster (or Saudi Telecom, 70% owned by PIF) could bid for TV rights for a league where they (maybe) own a club. The plot thickens.
If you do fancy a bit civil discourse:

I'm thinking or maybe hoping that the delay has been due to the inability between KSA and Qatar to solve the piracy amicably.
the solution that they have come up with is the KSA block Qatar from broadcasting effectively taking them out of the MENA area. The Premier league then refund BEIN the relevant amount due to the loss of potential subscribers. KSA then purchase the rigths for the newly created KSA area.
This makes the Premier league more money, solves the piracy problem and solves BEIN paying for a market they don't have access to.

I have to admit though the action by KSA also feels very much like the first volley of retaliation after they have just found out the buy out has been blocked.
