Swindon, Crewe and Plymouth played decent football.
Northampton awful route one but like Wycombe played to their strengths and got the reward albeit through the play offs.
Play to your strengths not to what others have done.
I expect Swindon to play the same way next season albeit we need a few players.

Possession doesn`t win games, scoring goals does.

Ho hum, always next season as & when. :D:D
And we`ll have 6 points in the bag from the Fiddlers........... if they don`t get some kind of demotion for financial irregularities.:D

The irony from a bastard thief who stole millions of pension money from innocent hard working people. Typical deluded Oxford.
Thought you were going up this season. Radio scum priceless last night. Jerome, Rosie and the rest of them. Still you get your 2 big days out and you and your lot will be creaming it once again having the chance to play Swindon.
You had your local derby last night and bottled it.
Will you have another stand by then or are the pallets in the car park a viable option?

5th in the form table over the last 5 games too. If anything their form had improved and they were performing better just before lockdown.

They’ve also gone and beat Fleetwood over two legs and Oxford in a final.

Absolutely ‘hopeless’ apparently. But you’re not allowed to use facts and figures as they don’t fit the agenda on here. Better to go off ‘hunches’ and ‘chance’.

See the post above - hardly ‘free fall’ 😂😂😂

mate the only agenda on here is from you, not even clever enough to come up with a decent undercover username

Imagine taking the time to sign up and pretend to be a Sunderland fan man 😂😂

Commiserations mate. What are you expecting to happen next season now? Hang on to your better players, supplemented with further recruitment and a title push or selling the likes of Dickie, Brannagan and losing your loanees and falling away to mid table? Or something in between?
I think Dickie will go, Brannagan not so sure. The next few weeks will be interesting, post-match interview from Robinson was basically a thinly veiled message to our (very wealthy) Board to back him or he might walk. Will be looking to see who's in our retained list on Wednesday. Don't think we'll be buying Will Grigg now so you're stuck with him I'm afraid.

2nd to 8th in the space of a few months with coventry away next game, their form picked up because they had the likes of tranmere, bolton in the 5 games before lock down. They were conceding left right and centre
2nd to 8th is a bit spurious when it's so tight. Our 88th minute winner at Shrewsbury on the last day together with your late loss (I think) on that day saw us jump from 7th to 3rd.

Genuine question - what's the latest on the Lee Power court case? That's not a jibe - I am interested.

Astrology system 😂 Points per game, from Mars, is now at fault.

Get a grip, close your phone down and go outside - you’re talking absolute shit.

Regardless of what system was used by the way, we still weren’t good enough.
You're the type of bloke who I could see signing up to opposition forums and Tweeting their fans "Well played lads. You's deserved that. Always thought your fans were class, good luck in the Championship. 👍 "

You seem a decent poster.
It’s all gone relatively quiet that makes me think (hope) that it’s more sensational journalism with no real content.
However would I trust Lee Power, not really. From an owner that was supposed to put us in admin within months he has not done so in 5 seasons thus exceeding his expectations. However if we are to move on to higher ground we will without doubt need a change to our ownership.
We are in the proceeds of buying our own ground that would be a massive positive step.

...and what about Tiger?
I know the rent being charged by Kasam is bordering on being ridiculous.

Both clubs have not had it easy for sure.

He's just a front man with Zaki as his sidekick who likes to play piano tunes for the more easily pleased of our fans. Our Board Members with real money are Horst Geicke, Anindya Bakrie, and in an advisory capacity Erick Thohir who used to own Inter Milan. They're all billionaries in their own right. The owners of Singha beer are also involved hence our current sponsorship deal.

Not sure about Robinson like. Play good football but he's a serial bottle job.

I know a fair few lads who support Oxford and who keep me posted as well as exchanging insults :)
Why would they get involved unless property is on the agenda. Kassam absolutely fucked Oxford over, the ground was dormant for a while wasn’t it before the construction started again. Always enjoyed the Manor.
Where do you live?

Had a glance through things at the moment...we do have to wait until teams come down, but a few personal thoughts on where teams are for what they are worth.

But my thoughts for what they are worth:
- Oxford’s team will break up. Robinson was hurting anyway, but it looked like he felt that was a big chance they missed last night (same as us)

- Pilley at Fleetwood wants a salary cap, which indicates they are going to release a few of their older heads and loanees too will be going back.

- The salary cap will hit Pompey and Sunderland hard. Both clubs are in transition, but those remaining under contract will be taking up a large portion of their permitted allowance as per the cap.

- Ipswich do have a squad that could challenge. But Lambert just doesn’t convince, and similarly, the salary cap will limit to what they can actually do.

- Posh look to have the basis of a very strong squad and notable that they’ve already brought some of their youngsters back to do some early training. They are the strongest side in L1 on paper as of now.

- Promoted clubs. Northampton will do okay. They’ll survive but not much more.

- Swindon played great football as I saw. But losing Doyle and Yates is a huge blow. Get the impression there is some financial concerns around the corner.

- For Plymouth, see Swindon, just they’ve kept some good young players. Not a lot between those 2 teams. I think Swindon have a bit more depth currently speaking.

- Crewe have a very good crop of young players that have come through again. Will never prove it, but believe they’d have pipped Swindon to the L2 title had it not been decided on PPG. I think they’ll do the best out of all the promoted sides.

- I’m keeping an eye on Blackpool as the mid-table side that could do well next year.

- All of these sides are at the mercy of whoever comes down. We want teams in distress rather than say a Barnsley who will be immediate favourites if they come down.

I’ve only ever signed up to this forum.

Good bants though.

This is really cringeworthy, but not unexpected from some of the guff posted on here.

Can’t have an adult conversation using facts = scream ‘undercover’, ‘Mag’, ‘gravy’ or something immature like that.

I live in one of the Oxfordshire villages but despite this I don't have webbed feet. The consortium are here to try to bring a sports village area to Oxford (much needed) including some hotels and have the new stadium as part of that. Some of them were previously involved at Reading and indeed still own a lot of the land around their stadium.

Thames Valley Royals :)
What Village, I will definitely know it.

I`m sure we need financial advice from a team that got demoted for tax dodging/illegal payments (innocent hard working people pay tax) ......I guess you are welcomed here as Sunderland got your place IIRC?
And you`ve had your share of PO Final heart break as well.
Last night was no derby, you know that as well as I.
Pallets are a bit "Portsmouth" so the fence will remain, which is just slightly worse than bolting seats onto a crumbling open terrace.
So much in common ..... we will see.
