You vote to play or you don't, it's a simple as that. They voted not to with a caveat propelling them into the play-offs. It's entirely wrong imo.
Doesnt matter its done. all they would have had to do is draw one of their two games in hand. is it right no, but i think any finish to this season would be fair. The entire season has been a joke though and that lies at the EFLs feet. I can understand them trying their hardest not to cost fans their clubs with the time they gave bury and to a further extent bolton, but that was just the start to a completely shit season

Our players will be watching that and hurting tonight. It can only fire them up for next season.

 and a last 3 seconds play-off final defeat a year ago didn't?

It certainly didnt yield results.

That is something we can definitely agree on mate

Personally and I can say this honestly... its not about us. I thought the way Tranmere were treated was a disgrace in this scenario. The financial prospects for them were probably as far reaching as Wycombes difficulties. Peterborough (IMO) were in a better place to finish the season in a play off spot than us, I think having a team leapfrog you on less points and subsequently reap the benefits the Championship may (or may not) offer them is shocking.
Wycombe I agree have done well to get where they have (or were) on the shoestring budget they had. Im not denying that. Theyve gone up based on three games they had no right in competing in.
and thats fair enough. As i say i just dont think any method was particularly fair. Unfortunatley it is a completely unique set of circumstances that no one could have forseen.

Look marra it's not the efls fault we were 8th having played 36 games not 6 36 games. That was the club's fault and the club's fault alone.
We didn’t play every team home and away though. That’s the fundamental tenet of football. It’s why being champions of England/premier league champions shows who is the best team in the land and not the FA cup. The champions win the league after playing every other team home and away. We weren’t given that chance. We didn’t have the oppertunity to play Southend twice. 5 of the 6 teams who finished above us did.

They’d have only embarrassed us in ET, let’s be honest. That late goal in normal time just ensured we were out of the ground and on the way home a little bit earlier.

Absolutely mate but this fella is claiming watching this from home will fire them up for next season. If that fucker didn't (which let's face it, it really didnt and they failed their Manager who lost his job) then nothing will.

I hope all of the yellow piss stain bastards are up all night......
Wonderful......listening to their shite on TV tonight, we’re going to do this, we are going to do that.....Well your f***ing victory parade bus is in the ditch, the wheels are well and truly off.
Fair play to Wycombe - not pretty but effective - see you next year SOT.

I know but the club's stopped the season not the EFL

I don't particularly agree with it but if we'd been good enough and in Coventry's position most fans would be dancing in the streets. People would not have been moaning about the season not being finished and the failure to be in that position is the club's

Oxford
Will they fuck they won't give a flying one apart from hoping their agent can salvage their career. Are you being serious?

He's on about us mate. Our set of lily-livered shites who went into this season flying with toothless defeats at the likes of mighty Lincoln and drew with Bolton who had cobbled together a team in a few hours a week or so before.

Coventry aren’t the issue really, Rotherham could realistically have finished 8th on the other hand. A chance would have been nice. Extended play offs. Let clubs who wanted to play out the season do so. A majority of top half clubs declared an interest to continue.
