I dont get why any of them sign up on here. I read the Mag forums as the comments are hilarious but not for a second would I consider signing up to their forums to debate. Its bizarre behaviour. And every single one of them comes on as a WUM. I like discussing with like minded SAFC fans about both us and them. They're a different breed and this takeover craic has proved they have no morals and they truly believe Ashley hasn't spent anything or saved their club from oblivion.

They are the David Brent of football fans

This was confirmed when they used Frankie Sherwood as a prop for a joke yesterday and doubled down on it by giving me abuse because I flagged it.

Trouble is some of us are just as obsessed with the skunks as they are with us. Its the same SAFC posters who are continually posting. arguing, taking the piss, etc out of the B&W Bastards

This will be the last time I post on this thread.
I used to entertain them and take them to the cleaners very often and enjoyed the joust then I realised
they were only here to annoy to wind up.
Our mods are supposed to be responsible sensible people so if I had realised they were here to annoy and wind up why hadn’t our Mods.
It’s been said many times we could not go on the way on their forums the way they are allowed to go on on here.
Now we are on bad times more and more appear and it doesn’t matter what you say to them they will not disappear.
Some of them are really sad specimens. They will post and annoy no matter what.
Thanks to the ineptitude of our owners and their staff and the players we currently employ we are at a significant disadvantage when it comes to debating with the scum.
That is not our doing it is the doing of the players who have let us down and the management who have let us down.
So, whether we like it or not we are at a disadvantage that gives even half wits an advantage.
Stop biting to their bait.
I did a few years back, these shithouses will be here forever as long as you feed their addiction. Stop replying to their posts. NOW.
If they only have themselves to talk to they will disappear.
Think about it. How many of us have been banned because of our response to these sad scumbags ?

I can comprehend what you’re saying, probably a few are only after bites, but there’s a few who actually enjoy the decent debate without getting offended. There’s some on here that froth at the mouth at the sight of a black and white username, despite the post being logical or reasonable.
I thought you were the type that was up for a bit healthy rivalry tbh? Am I wrong?

I agree, I very rarely participate in the 'banter' on this thread and occasionally there are decent 'arguments/discussions from both sides.

Im glad discussion about the skunks is now contained in this thread. But those that want vitriol know where to post, the majority avoid

Mind if we beat them/you in FA Cup next season, I would certainly participate more on this thread!
 
See, the above is fine. Back and forth between fans of rival clubs rather than the shite that pollutes the thread from the dozen or so posters who are more preoccupied with Newcastle than Sunderland.

Cheers mate. I go on the other site you frequent and have some good mates on there I’ve met and had a beer with. There’s very little animosity on there, but it’s a different kettle of fish on here :)
 
I’ll bite.
As someone who is from Gateshead and mixes with both sets of fans by going to our games home and away a lot, but also knows a lot of mags and talk to them and listen to what they say, I feel I have a biased but at the same time knowledgeable opinion of both sets of fans.
I’m only giving this opinion because of the last page or 2 where the majority of mags who post on here have twisted/stuck/jabbed the knife in to levels which is only gonna piss people on here off.

There are some totally decent mags who I know and call friends that would never even think about signing up to a rivals message board who are similar to the general vibe that I think north east people like to give. hard working, passionate, friendly who are dedicated fans, who represent the region as a generally good place with good people.
However, the main difference Between safc and skunks IMO is this.

they are sneaky and snidey as fuck when it comes to respect between the football clubs.
they think they are bigger and better at everything.
apart from the odd exception I’ve always found that they say we are similar people similar fans, we both deserve better, this and that Etc tv but the mask of arrogance is never far from slipping.
the last couple of pages on this thread sums them up. Sticking the boot in at a time where there’s fuck all we can do or say to defend ourselves.
It’s all hide behind the keyboard bollox and they are absolutely dumbfounded If u actually Turn it back on them and disagree with their thoughts.
they always go on a massive defensive barrage of bullshit thats pathetic. The self entitlement is unparalleled. Thing is they can’t see it.
It doesn’t matter the subject. There’s always an excuse of how they’ve been betrayed or abused one way or another.
