Rice,like Mount at Chelsea, are the current darlings of the southern media,and I include SKY commentators in that.I’m sure I heard yesterday’s commentator praise Rice for being in a position to head against the bar which lead to a goal,because he’s a defensive mid-field player !!! Mount’s performance was highlighted at the weekend and nothing I watched was anything other than average in the footage I watched.
 
Just heard Messi is signing a new Barcelona contract. Thought for sure he'd want to be the Toons Faymass Noomba 9 before he retired. Shocked in all honesty. I know they're the only Club in the world who would have tempted him and how much they love a goalscorer. And what with their history and standing and all that. Gobsmacked.

Have to agree regarding Rice like. Can’t say I get all the hype surrounding him myself.

They are WUM’s and many of our lot are obsessed to constantly bite ! They should parsnip the thread at least as it’s just repetitive biting about their alleged takeover ! They must love the fact that they can get a thread about them constantly top of a Sunderland board. They must f***ing love the attention they get !
