I didn’t say want us to lose, I said don’t like it when we win. There’s definitely a reluctance to celebrate, congratulate and give credit.
After all, a lot of the ‘know it all’s’ had us nailed on for relegation at Easter so their hopeless predictions must cause them a lot of embarrassment.

Either way the media narrative now is going to be that letting Bruce go/sacking him would be disgraceful etc. even if you lose every game from now till end of season. The xG merchants would suggest you should go down, they always maintained we wouldn’t go up under Ross. I think we all know you’ve been very fortunate in lots of games, particularly beating Chelsea which was the biggest act of daylight robbery in the PL since Ji rounded Joe Hart.

Newcastle has its fair share of knackers for fans I'll give you that, as do sunderland and every other club.
