I saw some tweets from Newcastle fans after the Man City match

"Dwight Gayle is a waste of oxygen"
"Someone please execute Dwight Gayle"

Wonder if the mags feel the same now 🤔

Tbf Steve Bruce is doing an amazing job at Newcastle as the side is really poor apart from Dubravka Saint maximin and Matt Richie

Football fan overreacts after a game. Shock!

Bournemouth are certain to drop and have absolutely wasted their premier league money as well. All these years in the league and haven't bought or extended their stadium and haven't bought or upgraded their training facilities. Also made absolutely no effort for the cups or Europe, despite relative mid-table mediocracy for season after season. However many hundreds of millions of pounds spent on the squad in transfer fees and wages, all for this. They'll have nothing to show for it at all as they sink back down the league/ leagues.

The best thing Bob Murray did was use our tiny bit of success to fund a new stadium and the Academy of Light, meanwhile, our last venture in the PL lasted ten years and left us with basically fuck to show for it (the 2014 final aside) much like Bournemouth.

I know the Mags won’t agree but to be fair to Bruce he went in after a close season of Benitez leaving fall out and protest.
There was only 3 weeks of pre-season left, and given those the circumstances he’s done better than his predecessor 🤷‍♀️

I was never a fan of Rafa - his football was just as boring as Bruce. I've said that on here many times. I also agree that fans laud him for his achievements elsewhere which is weird.

That said, Bruce is still f***ing awful like.

Bournemouth a gonna like

fair play to the Mags for coming back and showing some fight

long way till we will ever see a prem away win again

I thought the Mags, Palace and Southampton might all struggle a bit on the restart and get sucked into the fringes of the relegation battle. Also thought Brighton might struggle to get another win this season. Wrong on all counts! I'm amazed how poor the current bottom 5 all have been since things restarted.

They wouldn’t look out of place in league 2, and haven’t capitalised on the big fanbase they’ll have accumulated whilst in the premier league. They were better when Howe didn’t spend much money, he’s wasted a fortune. Another example of a club who have actually got a lot worse having spent big money.

I disagree in some ways..... Yes they have done nothing but they have some very sellable assets (ake, Brooks, Wilson, solanke,)..with the parachute payments added they would be my favourites to go straight back up

When they 1st went up they had to us and them attitude, all there lad stuck Together played as Team, now they just look like a load of players who are playing as individuals

Solanke is awful mind. Absolutely shite. Stoke are also living proof some of these players don’t move on and are happy to just stink the place out, Ake would definitely get a move though.

Not a chance, what clubs would buy him? He has been gash in the games against decent teams, about Everton is the highest he will play

Disagree. He's the one very good player they've got. Good teams can simply mark him out of the game because they have no threat from elsewhere. When he moves to a bigger club surrounded by good players he'd thrive further.
