The game has massively changed. The best chance they ever had of winning anything was the 90's.I can't see the, ever being that close again. I also don't think they will be the only club PIF buy.

I'd argue it's actually easier now. You get consistent top 4 you will eventually attract the quality for league challenges.

Spurs were light years from Arsenal now they've surpassed them

That’s all true but there’s an almighty If around the consistent top 4. Even the biggest football club in the world despite spending a billion quid since Ferguson left are not sure of a top 4 spot, and they started from a much stronger base.

I think it’s undoubted it will go through.
I think it’s horrid the major objection was piracy rather than inhumanity.
i think it will be interesting, Staveley is, if I may quote the barrister, a hustler.
I think in the desperation to get rid of Ashley, and see big money, human rights have just been sidelined, I mean whats a few beheadings compared to the zero hour contracts they held up against Ashley
It doesn’t surprise me that the moral compass of some allows the thought process to think Saudis are preferable to Ashley.
Well said lass.

She’s a time waster and a fraud. Evidently as well, she cracks under the pressure.

The court case and her cross examination was telling, she was, it seemed mullered, I’m willing to give her defence a chance. But if her wishy washy evidence was anything to go by, and without reasonable cross examination and counter evidence,I think the Barclay barrister calling her a hustler might be true.

It’s good news for them no doubt.
They will be a consistent top 8 team I would predict.
There lies the problem they wanted Robson out for finishing 5th.
Their ego mad, ‘being competitive’ is not what they crave like they say, they will think they should be winning leagues within couple of seasons etc. Liverpool, City, United, Chelsea are years ahead of them And will still be draw for players before them for ages.
Their signings will consist of Over hyped Lingard Barkley types, with Older big Names wanting last paydays.

Oh aye the Wolves Billionaire is bound to flog his best players. I find it quite amusing that all these Billionaires think they can get to the CL. There's only 4 spots . I give you QPR, Fulham, even Forrest bought the first million pound player. It's a chemistry, get it wrong and it blows up in ya fyass. Won't be losing any sleep over them.

Didn't mean they'd sell, though Traore on the bench a lot. Just meant that kind of quality. No point in losing sleep over them, we aren't even a challange to them at the moment. At least they won't be beating us anytime soon.

If they are the richest club in the world there is nowt stopping them being the next Man City. Depends on how competent they will be ran.
Have you ever heard city fans going on like them fuckers though. Even when they were in the same position as we are now. They've just been on motd and its the loudest in years I've heard.

Not sure about that as the old status quo is in a process of regeneration now. Look at Arsenal - they're on their way to becoming a midtable club. Maybe Man Utd too if they don't make the top 4 and lose Pogba/Rashford/Fernandes.

Just been told by my lasses nextdoor neighbours second cousin who works as a cleaner in Barclays that the money has been sent to Mike and the announcement will be in the next 72 hours.

Should he get those points, who would you say had done the better job?

And Rafa had the chance to stay but fucked you off for the money.
I'd say he has done every bit as well. Although there's little chance we'll finish 10th.
No one blames him for f***ing off from Ashley's ownership. Plenty of fans have done the same.
