Leeds
Nottingham Forest (2 European cups)
Half of current Premier league too...


Your only a bad couple of seasons away from serious problems in football. Shows what a good job Ashley has done up the road.

One would expect this, as you are European Monoliths with 11 trophies to your name. We are a lovely L1 team and Boro didn't win a trophy until 2004, so no surprise there.

Try choosing teams you all often profess to be bigger than: Everton (17) and Spurs (17). I think you are on shakey ground playing "Show me your trophies".

You are "big" because you are one team in a provincial northern working class city, and had a bit of moderate (trophy-less) success in the Sky era.

See yourself for what you are, and be proud of it.

Here's me thinking it was up for Premier League approval not Government approval.

You said he has no influence. He is the chair of international trade. He has stated it shouldn't go ahead.

Boris may well say it can go ahead but if you think the premier League wouldnt use expert opinions from the WTO and an expert in international trade as justification to not let the takeover go ahead you are seriously naive.

Like another poster has alluded to. The premier League is a mature product. It doesn't need Saudi money.

If they think the Saudis are going to be more chew than the extra money they'd receive (which isn't guaranteed) they'll block it and due to the WTO report legally there wouldn't be a thing Pif could do to challenge it
