I saw a video on BBC Sports(?) some bloke interviewing a woman with a mags shirt on. She said they will definitely sign Coutinho and the lad going to Udinese should stay cos he is a Geordie. Never mind the £850 a week he gets as opposed to the £30000 a week offer from the Italians.

If the Tory govnt don’t take any heed of what his boss Sturgeon says then there’s not a cat in hells chance they’ll listen to him. This govt has pushed and pushed for Brexit and now need as much foreign investment as possible, some bloke from the SNP is not going to change that.

I still maintain it could go either way, but the stench of desperation is so evident amongst you mags. Objectivity with the majority of you has gone out of the window and your poker hand is on the government being sympathetic due to financial implications and the thought of exerting pressure on the Premier League. But then what about FIFA, EUFA, the Bundesliga, even the Premier League itself trying to, and unable to, get the Saudi Government to entertain them to answer questions on the issue of piracy?

Could it go either way ? Yes.
Are we desperate for it ? Absolutely.
Are you desperate for it to fail ? Of course.

As has been proven for weeks now, we’ll look for any positive noises as we are desperate for it to go through. Likewise you will look for anything that counters that as you’re desperate for it to fall through. And do you know what, that is absolutely fine and expected from both sets of fans.

I think someone who is the chair of a comittee for international trade would hold some influence.
