There's many, many black players that have said they have received racist gestures/chants. It's reported all the time and seen all the time.

Why are people against footballers standing with BLM?

To say it doesn't happen in this country is a joke. I've only used the example of footballers being the subject of racist abuse in this country.

How anyone can say that racism isn't a problem in this country and that players shouldn't stand up to racism by taking a knee is beyond me.

America’s problem, mate - I read it on here.

No nasty people in Ingerland.

This shares a lot of similarities with the Pride thread.

Pride just about wins as there was a post about homosexuality being shoved down someone's throat.
Black Lives Matter being shoved down your throat is not far behind like.

interesting to see that the vast majority in your list have not been held back by the colour of their skin and make bucketloads of money. Not saying it is right to throw racist insults, but BLM is a Marxist movement that would ensure their fortunes were taken away.

Black fella on uncle Ben rice packets latest casualty

It comes after Aunt Jemima, a brand known for it's syrup have decided to change their logo. The Aunt Jemima brand's logo was inspired by Nancy Green, who was born a slave in Kentucky. The name of the Aunt Jemima brand is said to have potentially came from an 1875 song Old Aunt Jemima, which was typically sang by a white man in blackface.

The words 'Uncle' and 'Aunt' were words directed at black people of the older generation as white people refused to call the 'Mr.' and 'Mrs.'.

I've found on the Uncle Ben's website, that the name Uncle Ben was first used in 1946 in reference to a black farmer that grew rice.

These are probably the reasons why they are the latest 'casualty'.

It's ironic that those who use the term 'snowflake' will more than likely be absolutely fuming that a few companies have changed their brand.
