A very powerful moment in British sport

My issue is the narrative spun in this country that there is no issue with crime in black communities or poor performance by black boys in secondary school but that it's a part of an institutional bias that seeks to oppress black people. I keep seeing statistics trotted out that allegedly prove racism rather than accepting the possibility of other factors.

You're about 20 years behind. The whole point of treating people equally is about recognising their differences.

What the fuck are you on about. I don’t give a shit what ‘difference’ anyone has. They are a humans in my eyes.

It's not a political statement. It's about equality.

I'm sorry but there's a massive silent majority who disagree with you right here in this country. If there is contention no matter how convinced you are that you are advocating what is right there will be others who will seek to challenge it. There will be countless issues that people consider to be about 'equality' that others will oppose. Football should be very careful before opening up to everyone else to air political views. What about 'free Gaza' or 'support Hamas'. Maybe 'Free Chechnya' or 'Support for Kurds'. Many will have support but others will see it as inflammatory. It's a precedent that will become divisive.

Unless you're a robot it's psychologically impossible not to recognise difference in people. Not quite sure you're being completely honest mind.

I said I see people as equal regardless of race and you told me to open my eyes implying that all people are not equal.
That makes you a horrible racist twat.

Sorry, I didn’t realise you were that stupid. I’ll try to explain it better for you.

You might treat individuals you meet equally which is lovely, but there’s many others who don’t. There’s systemic racism in governments and authorities dating back hundreds of years. This is what the BLM movement is targeting, not you personally.

So again to make sure every life matters, there’s some huge changes to make sure every life is equal.

Every time I go to Spain benalmadena or Benidorm on holiday the black men in the streets that sell tat keep calling me or other white men "del boy"
I'm not outraged or offended by it

I get called chicken nugget.

Puts me right off KFC for about 6 month

How is Black Lives Matters the same as Free Chechnya? If that's the case than the FA should stop clubs wearing the poppy because it's political!

Black Lives Matters is about racial equality. There's nothing political about it.
