Yeah initially and then, if necessary, why sadly they should never return.Ah I get you so you give evidence on why they should be removed?
You must have seen some horrible stories I bet poor bairns
I couldnt he hearing that stuff I'm a big wimp with stuff like that would feel to bad and get depressed so well done.
Yeah initially and then, if necessary, why sadly they should never return.
23 years in I have heard and seen some awful stuff but seen some happy endings too.
I’m lucky in that I’m usually quite good at switching off and it helps none of my friends at home do the same job so I don’t talk ‘shop’ out of work
Thank youMade of strong stuff well done
I couldn't switch off would want to go chin the abusers
I have recently been on an attachment course at Easington and certainly opened my eyesYeah initially and then, if necessary, why sadly they should never return.

Get this over and then it’s full steam ahead to become the richest club in the world , can’t wait.

I still don’t talk about some of it, even to me MamI have recently been on an attachment course at Easington and certainly opened my eyes
Everything you have mentioned in the first paragraph was the initial feeling of appointments / signings, I would hope in any situation someone deserves a chance. The difference between us 'moaning about Grayson until it went south, Criticising Short when we were in the PL, Celebrating Donald at the beginning' is completely different to yours of Ashley. When he's putting money in and everything is going rosy no appreciation is given, yet when it goes tits up, absolutely everything is his fault.
Benitez played you all like an absolute fiddle man and you sitll believe to this day, because he went on record, to say he was staying for the fans. If you genuinally believe that you are mental. There's a reason why he fucked off to China and it's because Ashley didn't cave into his demands, combined with the fact he could make mega money elsewhere. Do you really think Benitez hasn't had better footballing offers than going to Dalian in some tinpot Chinese league?
... and rightly so, the transfers that Carr brought in propelled you to 5th. I ask again, how is that a negative? Surely the best business model any football club can follow in an ideal situation is maximum output (results) for little spend. Or is it just all about blowing unncessary money just to say you have spent it? You lot are absolutely mental when it comes to net spend and transfers, proper weird. He could have chucked loads of money at it, went tits up, and you lot would have moaned that he didn't follow Carrs successful model of buying players from foreign leagues that proved to be a success. There is also absolutely no guarantee that when a midtable / lower end side chucks money at things, it works, i.e. see Sunderland (at the time), Villa, Everton, Bournemouth, Fulham, Watford, West Ham, the list is endless.
Are you suggesting that following a model of bringing through young, European players such as Thauvin, Cabella & Siem De Jong was the wrong thing to do? I think your talking out your arse here because you even held a f***ing French day at St James Park' a season before they arrived, You could argue here that on that basis, Ashley funded in the next window exactly what the fans wanted
There's a notion outside of the North East that Ashley is a bad owner, as much as there is one that other fans cannot stand the delusion that comes from your mouths. You consntantly live in hope that if you stamp and kick your feet enough people will take notice, all because you 'used to play in Europe' over 15 years ago. Something that has since been acheived by Burnley, West Ham, Southampton, Everton, Hull, Swansea, Stoke, Wigan & Birmingham. You live in your own self-righteous bubble that is an absolute embarrasment to football supporters.
No, they're not facts, and they do nothing to mitigate anything. You state that because Newcastle finished above those teams it follows that this was their aim at the beginning of the season. That's not a full picture though. Was Leicester City's aim to win the title that year? Was Newcastle's aim to finish 5th? Well they achieved those results, therefore this was their aim? What utter nonsense. You keep saying aim v acheivment but this is entirely YOUR OPINION.
There is no evidence to say he only wants to finish 17th, everything I have posted, which is facts, mitigates this aim v acheivment argument ffs.![]()
Hence why i said 15 years ago, if i was referring to your Champions League campagin, I would have said over 16 years agoFair enough point apart from the last bit. Most of them only played 1 season in Europe and none of them tinpot clubs played in the champions league.
I can imagine, we became foster carers a year ago now and it’s certainly opened up my eyes. Do you know a social worker from Sunderland called Mairi ?I still don’t talk about some of it, even to me Mam
Find one post where i have said Newcastles aim was to finish 5th, or Leicesters aim to win the title. No, they're not facts, and they do nothing to mitigate anything. All the evidence shows that Ashley wants Newcastle United to be a Premier League side. No evidence shows that he wants to chase Europe, compete in the cups, have any kind of ambition beyond Premier League survival. That we have, on occasion, finished 10th is irrelevant to the main crux of the argument; Ashley has no ambition for Newcastle United beyond Premier League survival.
I can imagine, we became foster carers a year ago now and it’s certainly opened up my eyes. Do you know a social worker from Sunderland called Mairi ?
Apologies to all btw, I don’t want to derail thread
Well done, foster Carers deserve medals as big as frying pans. No I’ve not come across her.I can imagine, we became foster carers a year ago now and it’s certainly opened up my eyes. Do you know a social worker from Sunderland called Mairi ?

If she’s as smart as some would have us believe and her case is as strong as she no doubt thinks it is, you’d think she’d be better prepared. When a barrister asks a question and then just stands and says nothing while letting you provide a long winded reply you know you are in bother.

She’s certainly struggled at times today and made some basic errors, its amazing how well she can remember events of 2008 when it suits but has amnesia about events in 2008 when she doesn’t want to answer, she has dug herself a couple of graves for the barrister to jump into as well but, I don’t really know enough about the case to know how damaging it’s been.If she’s as smart as some would have us believe and her case is as strong as she no doubt thinks it is, you’d think she’d be better prepared.
... I can't get how you're not getting this. Achieving 5th does not mean that was the aim. NUFC finishing 10th, 13th, 5th doesn't matter to Ashley, as long as NUFC are a PL side he's happy. That is the aim. Survival. Survival is the aim. The aim for Ashley's NUFC is survival. The limit of his ambition for NUFC is staying up. League finishes don't mean a jot as long as it means NUFC are in the Premier League the following season.Find one post where i have said Newcastles aim was to finish 5th, or Leicesters aim to win the title.
You are the one who has stated the club purely aimed for anywhere above relegation, not me. I have simply shown how your statement of the club 'only wanting to finish 17th or above' seems to be untrue, based purely on facts of where you have finished then and since.
