I made the same point previously. It is embarrassing how many mags are defending a nation they previously had no affinity with. @AndyH a classic exam0le, fawning at every mention of Saudi with his KSA, MBS shite. Such a cliche.
Like I keep telling you i am not defending them, feel free to show me the posts where I defend them.
My stance is not that what they do in Saudi is right, its that I don't care what they do in Saudi, or more accurately don't care enough.

Youd be stupid not to be outraged
Outraged enough not to put money in their pockets? Do you read newspapers they have an investment in? Have you ever stayed in hotels they have investments in? Do you fill your car with petrol that comes from Saudi Aramco oil barrels? Are you that outraged that you boycott all of these things and more? Are you even outraged enough to have taken the time to know what you are or arent funding that is Saudi owned? No? So not particularly outraged at all eh? Thought not.

Outraged at what they do.. 100%. All the investement stuff is a stupid argument. You'd never buy or use anything if you looked into it enough. A football club, as we know, is a far more emotive subject.

Mate, log off. This can’t be good for your health

I see Saudi Arabia is the favoured venue for the Joshua/Fury fight. Surely there will be media outrage and the TV channels will refuse to promote/broadcast it. I cant imagine there will be any hypocrisy or double standards.

Absolutely fuming :lol: :lol:

It’s sportswashing though. The process of barbaric states getting involved in football to cleanse their image to the wider world. Saudi Arabia is a appalling nation when it comes to human rights, go against every progressive value we hold as synonymous with our identity as a modern nation, and murder Yemense people systematically. We’ve probably all unknowingly put money towards awful regimes thanks to the globalised world we live in, but it’s not the same and you know it. The fact the alleged stumbling block over the deal is over piracy ie. money and not the whole plethora of backward and barbaric practices the Saudi’a subscribe to just sums modern day football up.

They're losing it! :lol::lol::lol:

Nobody agrees with the human rites stuff etc, however every single club in the world apart from Man City, Chelsea or PSG who don't need the money would gladly take the Saudis as owners. Imagine the scenes on this board if they were buying Sunderland.
