So Rafa couldn't compete against Watford and Chelsea reserves in the greatest cup competition in the world? @Fitzgerald said you have had 13 years of "actively going out of it's way not to compete?". Did he mean only against Premier league teams? So if for example you were in the Championship you could actively compete and win the league but if you drew Premier league Watford in the cup you weren't allowed to compete but if you drew top of the Championship West Brom or high flying League One Oxford in the cup you were allowed to compete? It's very confusing.

At least we qualified for Europe by actually WINNING something.

Neither have Man City. But they have had a decade of playing all over Europe at some of the biggest clubs in the world. Same as Newcastle have.

Sunderland laughing at anything to do with Newcastle and Europe is the same as like a Wigan fan laughing at Man City's European record.

You're changing the argument now - you said we didn't have a record of playing in Europe - you were wrong.
 
To be honest I’d give my right arm to have had what those black and white bastards have had European wise. There is no hiding from that fact, but from growing upIn a mixed area of fans I know exactly which clubs fans I’d rather be associated with.
There’s Nufc fans who are normal and have the same outlook as us, however, They are a minority.
The majority of them are so far up their own arse they can’t see what’s in front of them.
This takeover has brought the arrogance back to maximum levels and they’re ready to burst.
If it goes through they’ll be unbearable.
If it falls through they’ll be unbearable. Both in complete opposite ways.
The ones that get on here sum them up.
Pretend to give a realistic opinion more often than not but always show their true colours when pressured or put under the cosh.
Every one of them who come on here want to take a long hard look at their lives.
The day I sign up to a mag message board and try to have crack with them is when I know to find something else to concentrate on.
 
Winning the World Championship is bigger than winning the Intertwobob certificate isn't it. How many times have the mags been world champions?

We qualified for The Fairs Cup in 1969-70 due to being the holders.

I also would have loved some European adventures following Sunderland. But lets get it right you are not some European Goliath - you are a provincial club who had a moderate period of "almost" success. Without googling how many seasons did you have in the Champions League Group Stages?

Three Major European Cities that come to my min... Paris (No), Madrid (No), Munich (No)

Man City won the Cup Winners Cup in the 60's.

What about the time you smashed up Dublin and were singing songs about the UVF when you played Bohemians in Dublin during the 70's?
