I can see why you're frustrated but not everybody shares your view. It might seem that way because 95% of people talking about the issue on here want him sacked, but it's not a fair reflection of wider society.
Every single opinion poll shows a majority of people want him gone. The only people who don’t are those who for some reason are deluded enough to think having an unelected bureaucrat in power is somehow a good thing.

Probably the main bit I dont get is how it was all right there on a plate for Johnson to rescue the situation, and even look quite good from it all. And he fucked it up over and over and over. Says a lot about his character I think.
There was a moment when Boris started speaking in his serious voice, and I thought he's might do this

About a sentence later it was clear he wasn't.

He could have sent a massive statement to the country, and the world. I am in charge. I will lead you and that means not tolerating this as you've all been let down

Instead. Look what happened

No fan of Boris. But I was willing him to do the right thing and I'd have respected him

Only on here? so far this morning we've had church of england bishops, police chiefs, first minister of scotland and Tory MPs as well as numerous members of the public who have done the right thing in difficult cirumstances exressing dismay in yesterday's performance by the PM. You're right wider society is defintely behind the PMs decision

Am I missing something with the child care thing. If I'm being crass here then I'm happy to be told. However the advice was that if you, or a member of your household shows symptoms, you ALL isolate for 14 days. It's quite simple the three of them shouldn't have left the f***ing house.
The thing that is being missed with the childcare is that they didn't require it. One person in a household had the symptoms.

I don't understand your point. You accept somebody did wrong. So he should resign then. As other people have. Some people may not agree with me. That's up to them. I want honesty and integrity in politics and life

But they might hav, according to DC's wife in her article he went dogging for a while, I presume this must have been in Barney

I agree he should be gone. One point worth making is that the civil service who run the country are unelected and hold a lot of power

Yep. It's so easy too. Sack him quickly, front up to the nation and say that he cannot expect us to do something that he and his mates will not and he stands with us, the people. His popularity rises.

And he even couldn't get that right.
