Reckons 50-60 efl clubs could go bust, scary times. Anyone genuinely think we could be one of them?

Yeah this. Think you would be a fool is you were not worried about Safc and it's future, with the clowns we have in charge and the global pandemic that's in place. The recession and lack of money coming in moving forward, will be rather devastating IMO

I keep reading this "with the clowns we have in charge"

I would agree with respect to the football. But I think they are quite savvy with the finances.

If we go bust I don't think it will be because of the owners, it will be because there is no income. And if we go bust then I'm pretty sure many other clubs have as well.

Savvy with finances is debatable. They don't have dont pockets, used clubs money to buy the club, have away 20% to their mate for next to nowt, taken loans out etc. I am not confident at all. They have cut everything to the bone, every department is on its arse and performing worse than before. That's not savvy it's ruthless and in come cases irresponsible.

They provide zero confidence.

No.

We own our own ground, training ground etc.

Our debts are low, and manageable.

We have a huge fanbase. When football returns, we will have one of the highest subscriber bases for PPV.

Even if things got that bad, a crowdfunding exercise would stop us going under.

Well tbh we should have the £20.5 million and the £9 million FPP money to rely on before we need to start worrying! Might be a time to get the recruitment right and pick the best players from other teams but our recruitment is a shambles

This, it annoys me seeing the constant abuse our owners get in here.
 
Criticism not abuse. Recruitment has been poor and they are clearly struggling to sell the club, but I think the pandemic has caused the delay. Am not a big fan of theirs but I think they deserve some slack.

If they are asking for a ridiculous amount for the club considering what they did with the parachute money then yes they will struggle. Thats through pure greed though

all owners get abuse, its part of football. This lot haven’t helped themselves, the club is a shambles and they’ve made it worse in their time here imo.

He’s struggling to sell at his price, not struggling to sell
