It’s funny how people imply that we will be the most hated club in the country like it will somehow bother anyone! I genuinely couldn’t care what fans of other clubs think of my club. Why would anyone?

You won't be the most hated club at all. Man City aren't hated. The likes of Chelsea, Man Utd and Leeds will always top the hate lists. Only on here is the myth perpetuated that the Mags are despised across the UK. Not true at all, most neutrals couldn't give a fuck about yous or Safc.
That’s five years old.

What a wanker @Random Precision 😂

People I know outside the region just see us both as no marks. Both regional clubs and that’s it.

Would you be happy with Ashley, Kinnear, wise, Pardew, Mclaren, Charney or Bruce at Sunderland with loads of free sports direct advertising all over stadium of light?

As opposed to being in league one?

Absolutely.

This 100%. Amongst most proper neutral fans we are both respected but there's no real animosity towards either of us. We seem to be ridiculed more on social media, mostly by plastic bellends though. I think many think we stunk out the Prem for years just staying up only to free fall. I can understand that. I hated Coventry and Southampton (barring Le Tiss) as a teenager in the 90s because they did the same.

Of course we want/ed Ashley, Kinnear, Wise, Sports Direct, Pardew, McClaren, Charnley out. They are/were all shit.

Spending a lot of money on a player doesn't necessarily mean they're any good. As a Sunderland fan, you should be well aware of that fact.
We didn't expect Ashley to spend his own money, we hoped he'd spend the club's money.
The majority of our fans fundamentally do not expect to be challenging for the top 4.

Those things aside it's a really good post.

I only retorted with that list cause of the other lad coming back saying we wanted all of those out.

I am aware of spending money on shite, but I’ve never once bemoaned Ellis Short spending money, I bemoaned the fact he had useless bastards running the club. The stick Ashley seems to be beat with is he puts no money in the club. He arguably saved your club from doing a Leeds but has been absolutely hounded since.

As a club Newcastle enjoyed an inflated decade when Sir John Hall invested a lot of money in. You have to admit that some of your fans now expect regular European finishes and that some of them feel entitled to it? You must almost admit that a lot of Newcastle fans have a view that Sunderland are essentially shit (Sunderland’s a massive club chant etc).
"we don't demand or expect what a large amount of their lot do." Maybe that's why we are in league 1 and they are in the premiership with the expectation of being one of the richest clubs in the world. Funny this demand and expectation isn't it?

I’d say our expectation has fuck all to do with why we are in league one.

We want our club to do well, as does any club. But it is my belief that as a set of fans we are a lot more down to earth than theirs.

quite ironic that you constantly accuse Newcastle fans of thinking they are special, of thinking they are better while constantly claiming your superiority.
We are superior, there is no way you maggots would have our level of support both home and away watching the crap we have had to put up with .

on the pitch if I remember correctly ? I’m not actually looking to start coffin wars here just remember it on the pitch following the cup win.

I knew a couple of the blokes that did it mate, one of them was the dad of a good mate of mine (RIP).
It was piss take at the whole country writing us off before the final, not a funeral procession for the supposed death of a club.

The only similarity is that they both used a coffin as a 'prop'.

They mean business these lads

City takeover came out of the blues, richest consortium in the world months

The elite are brick in it

I remember seeing the photo with Leeds died 73 on it. No idea of back story or if it was fans or club who organised it. I wonder how Leeds took it ? You’d like to think they laughed it off but I can imagine them not seeing the funny side.
