I said yesterday it wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest if FPP is relaxed. Same as any industry, the more money going around the better the sports economy is. Could be a big help to struggling clubs.

Only to help during the coronavirus pandemic.

I think there will be changes coming though. Hoping for a salary cap myself.
I can’t see a salary cap coming myself, and yes to help with financial impact of COVID-19, which clubs are likely to suffer from for a couple of years, even longer.

Salary cap very hard to introduce imo due to equal opportunities

Edit. Not equal opportunities but can't think of the words i mean about equality in terms of earning.
Couldn't have a player on say 250k a week with 5 years of a contract to run then somebody else who is more important to the team negotiating a new 4 year deal suddenly being told they can only earn for example a maximum of 200k

Like N America teams will have a budget and they will have to stick to it. You can pay a player what you like but have to fit others in around them.

I think there is no chance the premier league would introduce a salary cap.
The bigger clubs wouldn't vote for it as it takes away their advantage to a reasonable degree.
The premier league wouldn't want as it the teams would not be able to bring those big name players in from abroad that make their product so valuable.

Ashley Out
Kinnear Out
Wise Out
Sports Direct Out
Pardew Out
McClaren Out
Charnley out
Bruce out

You spent £40m on a striker and still whinged. Steve Bruce has exceeded anything Rafa ever did at Newcastle and he’s been treat worse than shite.

You expect Ashley to put his own money in despite getting the club in the black. The majority of yours fans expect you to be challenging for the top 4.

It’s f***ing laughable to even compare our demands to yours. We’ve dropped through the divisions. You’ve had nothing of the sort.
Would you be happy with Ashley, Kinnear, wise, Pardew, Mclaren, Charney or Bruce at Sunderland with loads of free sports direct advertising all over stadium of light?

I genuinely didn’t care. I was a kid barely in my teens but as some one from Northumberland it made me love Sunderland more. They had a shiny all seater, we had Roker. They had Ferdinand and Shearer, we had Craig Russell. For all the money they spent they’ve won the same amount as us. We aren’t arrogant arseholes and we don’t demand or expect what a large amount of their lot do.

Fuck them. They deserve each other.
"we don't demand or expect what a large amount of their lot do." Maybe that's why we are in league 1 and they are in the premiership with the expectation of being one of the richest clubs in the world. Funny this demand and expectation isn't it?

Why are we getting so many mag posters on a Sunderland message board? Is it because their sites are inferior, or do they just come on to rub our noses in it?

Well I did say in the last couple of years so you need to strike off kinnear, wise, pardew, Mcclaren and there hasn't been a large push for pushing Bruce out, more a case of he wasn't a popular choice.

Like i say pots and kettles, you lot go on that we are unusually demanding and expectant, take a look at yourselves.

I find both sets of fans are by and large the same, both passionate about there clubs and both vocal if they feel the piss is taking.

Both sets of fans are absolutely not the same! I mean....

We may share a county, a metro train system, a water provider, an airport but we’re nowhere near the same.

quite ironic that you constantly accuse Newcastle fans of thinking they are special, of thinking they are better while constantly claiming your superiority.
