It doesn't, but it takes an average across the board and that stands up to scrutiny. For example, Papiss Cisse went on a ridiculous run of scoring from all over the bloody shop. Should wide on the left, under pressure, with the outside of his boot be a goal? No, not under normal circumstances. The next seasons, his purple patch abandoned him and he couldn't hit a barn door from 5 yards. To get a working model for that you'd have to somehow account for form. Which, you can't.

The way it is now, a through ball onto the favoured foot, 6 yds out from an empty net should be a goal. Even if it's Joelinton on the end of it, it should be a goal.

Another name pulled out of the hat I think, we haven't seen Pep or Simeone mentioned for the hot seat yet, plenty of time yet.
Personally Zidane isn't on my list of people I would like.

Bollocks. Im just going for the worst case scenario option so its no shock when it does happen. Lets be honest it going through is highly likely.
