Off to Lanzarote on Thursday, mate of mine is getting married there on Saturday.

Shame, the bairn had never been abroad and was looking forward to it. At least it got refunded.

Had planned a trip in for July around southern France and northern Spain on the train, ending in Valencia. Not going to happen so it'll be shelved until next year.

We'll look to do a week in Cornwall later in the summer if the trains are running by then. Never been to that part of the world or been on a sleeper train, so a great chance to tick off the two.

We were also thinking of booking a late summer holiday - destination yet to be decided.

I've just put in our refund requests for the Easyjet flights we had booked for later this month - got an acknowledgement but now just waiting.

Only issue might be that the credit card account I originally used was closed earlier this year when we switched card providers. Had a right f@@k on tracing a car insurance refund to the same card a few months back.
