Been struggling to source one open during the lockdown and really got a hankering for one now. Was driving past the Barnes the other day and noticed Hong Kong Wok is back open but they seem to have ramped up the prices somewhat. Was this place always pricier than the norm or are they playing the arsehole? Haway Magic Wok, if you are reading this pull your fingers out.
 


Fountain Garden is back open I think, but collection only. Their salt and pepper chips and chicken make the journey worthwhile themselves.

May Ho's been open I think - niver been for years. Pretty sure the Dragon up Newbottle is open anarl - they're canny enough.

Obviously not Chinese but Star of Siam at the Highfield opened back up last weekend - was lush as ever.
 
We got one from Hong Kong Wok on Saturday, I can't recall what it cost but it didn't raise an eyebrow. Fountain Garden is better though, I will try that next time.

This and hairdressers not been open are two of the main catastrophes of this whole pandemic carry on Jim. Not spoken about enough imo.
