Correct. The deliberate refusal to do owt about state sanctioned pirating of its footage is gonna bother the PL more than owt else.

To be fair Andy...it's not straight forward....as there are 3 consortius to deal with here .
The Saudis are getting all the attention but Amanda and the Reuben brother's are also big players in this
Just because they haven't got the percentage as the Saudis...they are very important to the deal
Don't underestimate the Reuben brother's commitment to the cause
That will all come out in time.
They are big players believe me.
We've also had to wait for the Premier League dealing with the Corona virus'.
It hasn't been a straight forward transaction.
Just hold on that little bit longer .

I agree the piracy will be their main concern but even then thinking they are complicit in that is one thing, being able to prove it or being confident enough on it to block the deal is another.
Not to mention the fact blocking the deal doesn't help to get rid of the piracy, putting the deal through and having a good working relationship with them might.

I expect the PL to rubber stamp the deal and I would not be surprised to see the piracy issue resolved by the Saudi's out bidding Qatar for the Middle Eastern TV rights

the Foreign office stated to BBC they could not see it being passed by the house committee I got that of an agent in London 3 weeks ago, things change, backhanders happen, im not mystic fukin meg, if things change and I only find out today then I posted what I was told.

In other words, you posted complete bollox as fact, AGAIN!

There was never a chance of the foreign office stopping it! The BBC didn't report this so I doubt it happened! The government said very early on they would not interfere! Do you believe EVERYTHING you are told?
