The news I have heard is nothing to do with Bracewell and 2 wealthy businessmen, but it relates to the yanks with the Dell connection, and a deal being very close to sign off. If I am wrong so be it, but just what I was told yesterday hence my previous post. If its correct then something could happen pretty soon. Oh, and the purchase price is now £10 million.
You utter bastard. I've got tons to do for work next week, I really can't afford to be refreshing this page 24/7 next week. ;) :D

If (IF) this comes to pass, we need to knock the monorail and transfer fantasies on the head. We need to see fan engagement for what it is - window dressing - and ask them critically what their plan is for the club and how they intend to achieve it.

At least after we’ve got a few weeks of #cans and money gifs out of our system anyway.

When i think about it, all this coming out now has surely been leaked by a potential buyer to push donald out, knowing what will come donalds way if he dosnt fook off. Or am i just clinging to any hope.
I'm guessing it's only potential buyers who will have advance sight of the accounts so that would make sense.

It is at the point that the property is worth more than the business as a going concern.

That is usually the definition of a business that goes into liquidation when the assets are worth more individually than the future cash flows of the trading entity.

The Oxford type scenario is likely. Perhaps with the American’s owning the stadium and extracting a monthly rent by way of interest on their asset.

or the club is sold and the new owners pay rent to Madrox

I've even got my balls crossed that this is true.

I want to renew my grandson and granddaughters season card, but cant. tried to phone, no answer and no reply to email. I am sure it was on here or in the echo that all deadline dates are cancelled due to situation
There is no one working at the club, the ticket office staff are furloughed.

Not convinced by this write off of the £20m now being couched as a good thing. When we talked about the parachute payments in the past the received wisdom was that it would provide an easy investment mechanism for any new owners - one that would probably circumvent scmp. Now we’re talking about the best scenario being owners making a loan to the club - perhaps with interest - that would be recoverable at some point. Debt. Might be good for new owners but most certainly isn’t ideal for Safc or the fans. The write off is not a good thing. It simply isn’t. It may not prevent future investment - but it makes it less favourable for the club and the fans. Don’t for a minute pretend that this is Donald doing the club a favour.
Exactly this, it’s potentially a good thing for new owners if they want to take money out of the club! Can’t see how it’s good for the club!

I used to play football with Martin Hardy, a nice and bright lad but black and white to the core. If there is a slant to be put on Sunderland whilst the Mags are in the process of such a mega takeover, I’m pretty sure that he would take pleasure in such an article. Mind you, the situation does appear as fishy as fuck..........
Too many people now writing for The National Press are Mags
