Jesus f***ing wept man
Oh dear me, where to start. Apart from the article being sickly, are they really suggesting that people who turned up this season regardless of who owned the club should be kicked out of their seats in favour of ‘supporters’ who gave up their seats and didn’t want to be there. (I know they were protesting and didn’t just pack it in because of the sh!t football being churned out).

How much does Keys know? He does know the new premier league chairman but never sure if he's on a wind up. Wreckons it some way of being done. From 15.30

I don't think he is saying that, I think he is saying if you got one of the free tickets you shouldn't get the chance to renew it before those that give it up get a crack at it.

I do have sympathy for those that didn't renew in protest but for me, you give it up you give it up.
I agree that if you got a free ticket you shouldn't get to renew it as you didn't pay for it so your not renewing anything.
For me if you have a ticket that you bought you get to renew, if you don't then it's first come first served.

All that said i'm not overly opinionated on it and don't care what happens.

People who write open letters get on my nerves though I will say that, It's like self appointing yourself as spokesman for other people.
Writing a private letter on your own behalf is fine, an open one as a self appointed spokesman isn't

I personally think he knows nothing and just trying to push the stance of Qatar as they pay him.
I mean the story he mentions that the owner of Sheffield United could be jailed is just so weak. Even Sheffield have laughed that one off as nothing more than the previous owners PR company working themselves.

I have no idea where the PL are with the takeover, I feel confident in saying they will not be informing him though.

I do think he says things for a reaction and he is obviously going to say what his bosses want him to say with regards to the takeover but I would be surprised if he didn't have some contacts within the Premier League.
I'm not saying I 100% believe him but I do think he would have probably heard something from somewhere. It's whether his source knows what's happening or not.

he definitely knows the new premier league chairman as he’s very good friends with him. They used to go to Coventry matches together. Not saying he would tell him anything about the takeover mind.

Won’t be a bargain for top players and certainly won’t when they know that their loaded and need to buy!
It'll be a buyers market in the summer, if you're cash rich.

Keys knows fuck all man. He knew fuck all when he was in England. His sources for this will be his paymasters.

He says he is mates with the PL Chairman, don't know if that means a real friend or just an acquaintance.
Either way I don't think he would tell him anything and if he has Keys isn't exactly being discreet about it as he has already name dropped him and implied he has information.
A premier league leak wouldn't surprise me but it will be from someone junior who has overheard something not the chairman, he isn't going to spill the beans.

The whole thing does seem to be dragging on a bit, my guess is they are dragging their heels just to make it look like they where extra rigorous with the checks due to the human rights issues.
That said there could be a genuine issue with it although I cant see what it could be.

Squeaky bum time for NUFC fans without a doubt though.

Not sure whether he knows much but he is definitely an employee of the Qatari state and as such his thoughts on middle east subjects should be viewed as such. Still interesting, but really only in so far as you can see how other players are reacting

The clubs wanting to sell will be the players of clubs you don’t want🤷‍♂️ None of the top half premier league teams nor any of the other top teams in Europe will need to sell, and for example Ziyech or van de beek of Ajax came available for a nominal fee in today’s market like 15-20m there would be 7/8 clubs in for them, to think other wise is crackers, they’d more than likely be instructed by their agents to pop what ever you’ve saved on a transfer fee into wages, exactly what happened when the bowman rule was introduced.

I don't think that's the case.
Barcelona have transfer listed all but two of their players and
More £8.5m Coutinhos:
While the financial impact of COVID-19 is going to be enormous, the impact on smaller clubs would be even worse. Even the funding from Federations may not be able to save clubs as highlighted by sports business expert, . Governments would need to bail out smaller clubs and top-tier divisions would need to support the lower league clubs more than ever before.

All these financial implications would definitely result in deflating the arguably inflated player transfer market. We might see more of the £8.5m Philippe Coutinho deals (Inter Milan to Liverpool) and less of expensive panic buys like the one of Kepa Arrizabalaga’s transfer costing £71.5m – a world record fee for a Goalkeeper paid by Chelsea FC to Athletic Club Bilbao.

The low value deals would also result in less transfer of cash from one party to another and create a low liquidity domino effect in the industry. This could result in higher demand of transfer fee factoring – typically, player transfer fees are received in instalments over a term period. With transfer fee factoring, banks step in to provide the funds upfront to the seller club at a discount of 4-5% while receiving the agreed upon funds from the buyer club on the agreed term dates.

Further, these transfer fee instalment payments act as future receivables for clubs thus assisting in securing funding. The reduction in the receivables (due to lower transfer fees) would also decrease the clubs borrowing capacity and hence securing debt financing could be a challenge. However, this could also have a positive impact in enabling clubs to bring down debts both in the short and long run. For investors, all of this would be an absolute nightmare due to the increased due diligence involved. On the other hand, for fans and the clubs – who wouldn’t love a £8.5m Coutinho bargain? Bring on more Coutinhos, shall we?

If it’s not done by a week on Friday I’d be concerned as by all accounts exclusivity ends.
