I don't think the Sunderland fans view of he could influence the owner of Sheffield united and make him get his team to take a dive by threatening to have his families heads chopped off holds up in court to be honest.
When the premier league talk of conflict of interest they are talking about financial ties.
Ok, let’s just ignore the fact he has already held members of his own family and top businessmen in his country hostage until they handed over substantial amounts of money to him. This was widely reported by the way, not just a Sunderland fans view of events. Perhaps not in your eyes, but to most sane people this obviously means he has already abused his position to get his own way and is therefore clearly in a position to exert influence over another club owner who has family members living in Saudi.

Obviously you will be putting your Sportwashing spin on this as you’re just after his money.

correct it's not
Are you saying a man who order the killing of Jamal Khashoggi, killed nomads to build his latest vanity project, held 175 wrestlers and staff of the WWE at gun point on a runway, led a war on Yemen and a blockade on Qatar, has refused to honor business deals and locked several princes in a hotel and threatened to torture them unless they handed over money to his fund won't pull rank on his cousin to suit his football club?

I am saying none of this will even be looked at when it comes to a question of conflict of interest because that is not what a conflict of interest is.

As I said to the other lad this is not what a conflict of interest is.

This would be the likelihood to coerce the owner of another club to act in your clubs interest and not theirs test, which doesn't exist for obvious reasons.
Wonder what that Sam bloke who runs the LGBT twitter thinks about the Saudi views on gays?
I would imagine he doesn't approve.

His cousin is the owner of Sheff Utd and MBS has power of him. How is that not a conflict of interest? If stuff like that is over looked then that tells you how rotten the game is. The FA have a hard neck accusing FIFA of corruption if that's the case!

If it was to be blocked for that reason they'd just tell him to sell up and then go back in for Newcastle when they can

Having a conflict of interest is different to having the ability to coerce, I don't know what you don't understand about that.
The PIF, none of the would be directors or MBS in the back round have any stake in Sheffield United therefore they have no conflict of interest.
The director of Sheffield has no stake in NUFC therefore he has no conflict of interest.
Therefore there is no conflict of interest between any of the parties.

What you elude to is the man in the background of the takeover MBS is a big evil bully and he might use his power to illegally coerce the owner of Sheffield to act against the interests of his club and act in the interests of NUFC instead.
This if it existed would be the "chances of coercion test" this doesn't exist for clearly obvious reasons.

Not, it isn't about coercition here. Two relatives from the same royal family own two clubs in the same league. They can give points to eachother whenever the other needs it.

Then you are eluding to collusion where as he is eluding to coercion.
As in my answer to him there is for obvious reason no chances of collusion test.

I know you are desperate like but talk about clutching at straws

No Sunderland fans obviously as their moral compass would have clearly indicated doing so is unacceptable behaviour and beneath them.
For me it was, I didn't consider it beneath me as that implies some kind of superiority, it’s more I just don’t like the horrible kernts. Further to that if the same mob bought SAFC. I wouldn’t go back.

I think he’s struggling to understand how many people disliked the Saudis long before this. It was never apparent until this particular turd dropped out.

Laughable how they imply they don't know anything about the Khasogghi incident. Not that it shocked the world and was all over the press. News to them all this controversy surrounding they wealthy owner.

Don't think I have seen anyone that has said they have not heard about the Khasogghi incident.
