This has deja vu written all over it when we were going to be the richest club in the world and then the old “it’s off” started to creep in. I bet there are a few mags with a twitch or two right now 🤣🤣

Can’t see it not going through like, the PL will be getting a few brown envelopes passed across their table from the Saudi’s, that’s one thing they are good at and be heading people 😂😂

Thinking of doing it to death mate, just to pass some time.
why not, doesn't sound any worse than what i am doing to pass the time.
If you really want to wind us up though use this one

I have no doubt that the Saudis are scum. I don't want them anywhere near NUFC.

However, it's farcical that the City of Sunderland has suddenly become the NE Branch of Amnesty International.

The majority of SAFC fans would be exactly the same as the majority of our fans are, if the Saudis were buying SAFC. They would turn a blind eye and make excuses, lots of whataboutery to justify the money. If you don't believe that then you are deluded.
That’s fantasy pal, our fans as a whole are pretty grounded and level headed, you lot live in the clouds feeding off laa laa land golden nuggets.
Sunderland fans as a whole wouldn’t be happy with the Saudi murderers taking over the club.
That my dirty black and white bastard is fact.

I agree it is farcical. We shouldn't have to convince people, the normal stance should be to hate the Saudi regime and yet here we are with people like you willing to turn and blind eye and people like Andy spouting lies to paint them in a good light.

too soon to get a Saudi flag tattoo you think?

what lies by the way?

For the life of me though I can't see that happening by not getting PL approval. For the premiership to make an announcement that the Saudi Royal family is not fit to invest in a British business would be a massive diplomatic incident and would cause one hell of a shit storm.
Could easily justify it by claiming a conflict of interest as they would be in a position to influence another club, Sheffield Utd, which is against Premier league rules.

Well I wouldn't say i was going on about it, i did mention that according to their website it was a done deal.
Yes their website also mentions in a older article that they where discussing making a bid for Man U, they did make a bid for ManU and it was knocked back.
I think I might be missing the point you are trying to make, can you clarify?

That is appears to be a website populated with gossip, posing as news?

I don't think the Sunderland fans view of he could influence the owner of Sheffield united and make him get his team to take a dive by threatening to have his families heads chopped off holds up in court to be honest.
When the premier league talk of conflict of interest they are talking about financial ties.
Lets face it Abramovich for example could equally make exactly the same threat to any other premier team owner.
The company that is PIF have no financial links to the owner that is Sheffield United neither will any board member.

Jamie Reuben who is reportedly going to be on the NUFC board would have to step down from the QPR board as that is a conflict of interest.
It is the assumption that all board members are acting in the interest of their club not doing favours for relatives or friends.

A St. Niall Quinn's Day. Completely different as it was to show appreciation to one of the legends.
Someone mentioned the mugs having a french day which I thought a bit naff at the time.I did with our Irish day.
