Several outlets have claimed Saudi ruler, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS), may have ordered 175 employees off the plane to sit on the tarmac for six hours.

I think a takeover will happen in the end. I have no idea who will actually be involved or what their intentions will be.

And I know that rumours that the takeover is on the rocks wouldn't make me more confident. For all the 'clutching' going on in here, that might be the biggest of the lot.

No, clutching is taking a silly small piece of information and deciding that it over rides all other evidence.

I was simply laughing at a story that says everybody wants it done but they are not going to do it and they don't know why! This is in no way a sensible or believable scenario!

There's no evidence pointing to this happening. There's plenty to say it's all down to the PL. This is not clutching at straws.
 
Like many I’d laugh my cock off if it went tits up but with it being on the House of Saud website I just can’t see it.
 
I have been told its already approved by the premiership and just waiting for the swift bank transfer to complete.
The person that told me thought it would be done by today but also said if didn't complete today it would be Monday.
If it was about anything else other than a Newcastle takeover I would probably be inclined to believe him.

As it is about a Newcastle take over I will refuse to believe it until I see the new owners waving the keys at me.

My head tells me there are no problems and it's a done deal. All logic I apply to it tells me it will go through.
My gut however is screaming it will all fall through and we'll still have Ashley next season
