No man, that's his go to. If you don't agree with him it's because you are just following everybody else or obviously a big bad bully!
If you don't agree with me then it's your right.
If you think I'm wrong then debate it.
If you are one of those people I mention then it'll fit from my point. If you aren't then it doesn't apply.
Which are you?

Aye? How did you take him to mean it?
I thought he meant me using his flat earth views was me building a strawman to pull down his argument.
wait what, does he actually believe the world is flat?
I new they where out there but i've never met one.

It is Sportswashing, it absolutely is. Nobody should defend the atrocities carried out by the Saudi regime.

I don't think it's up to fans to dictate the domestic or international policies of a foreign power, that should be up to those with actual power like the government. Only way we, as fans, can influence that is by voting in a party that aligns with with our personal ideologies. Fans don't have the power to pick and choose who owns their club (I think they should have more of a say as they do in Germany, but that's another story). If we did, we'd have got shot of Ashley long ago, and I'm sure you'd have wanted rid of Donald.

All Newcastle fans can do is educate ourselves on what the Saudis are doing to their people and Yemen etc. Personally, I can compartmentalise my support for my club, from my criticism of the Saudi regime. I won't defend them. Just like I won't defend the practices of Amazon, Nike, or whoever, despite using their services/products.
The most balanced mag view I've read on here. However, and I'm sure you do appreciate this, the actions of Bin Salman are very much next level when compared to the business practices of the companies you have mentioned.

Hundreds of posts about it in the thread in parsnip. Every one of his theories debunked, ignores empirical evidence. Canny funny. He's on a wind up but he kept it going that long and with so much effort that I think he has a loose grip on reality.

Chi would like to hear fans views

Which translates as...….

Now that I've kept my head below the parapet for sufficiently long enough to not damage the takeover deal I've organised a token 'get fans views' meeting. I realise that the overwhelming majority will be positive but let's tick a box off. Whilst listening, I will not be forthcoming with any views of my own on human rights violations/proxy wars/killings as I don't want to damage my reputation amongst my electorate. Mike Ashley's still a twat though.

lol

We have a government to which we allocate the task of deciding who we should and shouldn't do business with, they have decided it's not only ok but it's desirable to increase business links with the Saudi's, this is good enough for me.
There was plenty in your post which was beyond questionable, but closing out your justification by saying that if the government think it’s okay to do business with Saudi Arabia then that’s sufficient reason for you to completely forego critical analysis says a lot about you on multiple levels, and none of it is good.

This is peak sheep mindset. You obviously lack the ability to do your own thinking/have extremely weak deductive reasoning and have to fall back on “If the majority of the herd voted for the government then I can assume that the government view is the majority view and if the majority have trusted the government it’s therefore correct.” I could write a book based on how far off the mark you are at every level from how you think governments come about compared to reality. How you evidently don’t understand the difference between democracy and crass majoritarianism. How you don’t seem to understand that whether it’s someone “representing” the views of people, or as you seem to think governments are just elected to do your thinking for you, that doesn’t mean that what they’re saying is right.

I could go on, but based on this, your logic is so weak and you’re so dense there’s nothing to be gained for anyone by even trying to speak to you. You have nothing worthwhile to offer.

There have been doubts abt a price being agreed emanating from selling side. It is buyers who have insisted a price has been agreed. This is strengthened by suggestions a Purchase Sales Agreement has to be signed by both to start PL tests but there are murmurings of doubt still
