£19m a year for Pochettino!?

Shows that the Saudis know they’ll have to pay way over the odds to attract anyone of any quality.

IF the takeover actually goes through.

Not bothered tbh mate doesnt affect us.

Its shown the whole country what weve all known though.

Mags are hypocritical bellends and it was never about Ashley being the bad guy it was because he wasnt spending silly amounts to massage their ego.

It will be funny if these new guys dont spend stupidly though as the protests will sharp start again. At least they'll have a proper reason now

Arabs usually stay quiet until the deals fully done.
Spot on that comment good buddy

So basically their mods saw you for what you are and for what you were doing. That gives us hope on here.
 I am a Newcastle fan and that's enough for some. Petty tribalistic children might get their pants in a knot because a Newcastle fans is on their message board, but other, less juvenile people, are fine with it.

If my presence upsets you that much, just click ignore, way less effort than following me around and trying to wind me up.
What's frustrating?

I find it funny tbh how many different forums you been on "asking for opinions/gloating" then?
What's frustrating? Consistently being wrong.

I am interested in other people's opinions and don't want to live in an echochamber.

If money was no object to them why wouldnt they buy the club in May when it was just 50m more?
Something just doesnt sit right with me with these Arabs. In fact, it absolutely stinks

Maybe they were not arguing over 50 million, maybe the sticking point was commercial rights or advertising or then again might just be a case of we all love a deal.

Already posted. Wishful thinking.

If Bin Salman passes the ‘fit and proper’ test then it makes a total mockery of this text in a letter written by the PL as recently as February. As we know though, money talks.

“In conclusion, Saudi Arabia continues to deny adequate and effective protection of intellectual property rights, as (i) Saudi Arabia remains a centre of piracy, impacting rights holders from around the world; (ii) the Saudi government persists in its failure to take action against beoutQ and other pirates, whether criminal or otherwise, that would deter the continuing growth of Saudi-based piracy; and (iii) the Premier League remains unable to gain access to the legal system in order to seek civil remedies against piracy.”

Seeing as Cellino at Leeds failed one due to a conviction for dishonesty.
Telling a few porkies v funding the World Trade Centre attacks? It's a toughy mind.

Maybe the issue is that the Investment Fund isn’t a single person? As long as the board and chairman are pure as the driven snow then that will pass the test? After all sure they won’t scrutinise every member of the SIF just those named as representatives on the board.

I may be full of shit with that assumption.

Aye, just one of the most barbaric countries this planet has ever known.

If the self-styled 'Super Lawyer' could have kept her mouth shut, so much of the fallout could have been avoided. Still, she seemingly continues to give info to Caulkin and the like. I guess it's to be expected from someone who thought she should be considered as a serious investor for Barclays because she was 'well known'.

Hopefully she's as involved as suggested. Everything I read about her makes me trust her less.
