Can’t be man, Stewart is a man of his word, he said he was selling up so he is. I’m not sure why we shouldn’t believe him. Probably the previous other times he’s talked a load of f***ing shite. Of course he is here to stay in some capacity, he never had any intention of leaving and the club statement in January was full of self pity and blaming fans, yet here we are still no closer to any investment or signs that he is going to fuck off as promised
Haway mate dont be like that he seems a canny bloke

Are there any straws to grasp regarding a potential take over? We need some good news soon, the celebrations in Newcastle are going to be nauseating
This, we need some good news instead of the perennial kick in the knackers. However I won’t be holding my breath on this fucker going anytime soon. He’s bided his time hoping the fans would change their mind, a few good results seems to have changed the minds of the fickle ones, the others can see the bigger picture

If some bloke dressed head to toe like an Arab Prince said he'd give Donald £50m in the morning for the club he'd be gone in a shot.

All this talk about caring for the club is rubbish. Of course he cares because he has a lot riding on the club. If we got promoted the price goes up and more people will be interested.

Its an all time low for SAFC, sadly its unlikely anyone will be throwing money an SAFC anytime soon so the club needs to do it the old traditional and honest way.....growing the club from the grassroot up, it served us well in the past. It seems like we're falling apart right now but we'll be back...one day.....I don't know when but we'll be back. There'll always be a Sunderland

the straw I’m clutching is that we were almost the richest club in the world last year so there’s got to be a few other potential owners out there who would be willing to take a shot. Christ, Red Bull openly said they’d buy us.

haway ITK'ers, there must be someone out there who knows what's going on. Im in Warrrlsend on Monday for the first time since the whole of Saudi Arabia was linked to the mags, so I need something to hang my hat on

The sentiment is all very well but Donald is selling anything worth a seed from the academy. Nothing grows anymore. He’s killing the club due to his need for greed

Still skint , still ran by chancers, still in league 1 and will be for the foreseeable about sums it up

This is what gets me. According to Donald he had offers from day one. We had parties from Asia who were interested in investing. Campbell was interested, MSD traveled to the SoL and set up a holding company. Red Bull named us as a club they would be interested in. Why aren't these people being contacted now or showing any interest?

The alledged cost of the club needs to come down whilst we're in league one. Nobody should have an ego of owning the club and expect to get rich on the back of it's sale. Either they've got the best interests of the club at heart...or they haven't and theyre out to make money. If its the latter they need to relinquish control and give it to someone who does care for the club. I know the Newcastle fans will gleefully want to watch SAFC wither and die...slowly as what's happening.
The only way out of this is growing the club "organically" and honestly/decently from the academy upwards and we all lose any expectations of multimillion pound benefactors

Unfortunately the people in charge do not possess the ability to do this. I was talking to my son last night and was telling him we’ve been here before with us being worse than shite and the mags looking like they’re going to hoy some money about in the hope of challenging for silverware, it’s shite but Sunderland are our club and you just hope that the decline soon levels out and we at least start to improve slightly, seems a million miles away at the minute, but it’s character building at least

Thanks for the update mate, and correct, there is time for heroes ......at 8pm Thursday night. Anyhow, can any of the "in the maker upperers", tell me the opposite, thanks in advance

The only way Donald is going to lower his demands are through fan pressure, the chancer shouldn’t be asking for more than 15m for the club.
I will give him his due on this one mate, although it probably wasn't deliberate. When he was on the ropes with the fanzine statements, he came out and cried that he was going to sell up. The fans seem to have let him off because we managed to beat a few League One sides, whilst the academy team couldn't beat St Wilfrids year 10's. But its ok now, he's isn't doing what he promised, he is hanging on for what is best for him and will only leave when he is satisfied he is making enough money on his little project
anyhow, I'm waiting with baited breath for a big announcement, Kildare hasn't been seen since Saturday, so he must be negotiating

I think that's a bit unfair like, he is entitled to ask for what he thinks he can get for the club and the covid thing has probably made things a bit worse selling.

I wish he would sell us to someone willing to spend some money but whether there is anyone with deep enough pockets to run us in the championship and get promoted to the prem is another matter all together.

think the fanzines etc are in a bit of a no win, nowts not the time etc and every statements from safc now has the we see still being sold but Covid blah blah blah is restricting us caveat.
I will now forever hate him for f***ing up the American takeover.

dont forget Bob said it just needs a signature and it’s jaw dropping.
