I think it's always Ashley that leaks the stories.
Every take over story we have gets leaked and the papers always come out with Ashley will be furious.
Ashley seems to be the common denominator, am I meant to believe Ashley is all loose lips sink ships and every other one of the 10 buyers can't keep a secret.
It's probably just more press click bait but like i say when it comes to Ashley i will believe a take over when it happens.
If i had to put money down like i would still say I expect the Saudis to own us within a couple of weeks.
Not sure how smart it would be to fuck the Saudi's over they tend to take losing face quite seriously.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was or it wasn't.

The news coming out about another interested party and the member of staff coming off furlough, suggests to me that something is happening. Whatever it is, knowning Big Mike, we shouldn't be ruiling anything in or out!

Your guess is as good as mine.
It might be a simple case of while he has been in America someone has seen all the publicity over the thing and said if the premier league knock it back give me a call and I'll buy it.
Don't know what to make of the scout being brought back off furlough, can't see it having anything to do with the new bid its to early.
The only way that makes sense to me is if A: Ashley is staying and B: the take over is complete but not announced and the new owners have done it.

I'm not a lawyer but my knowledge of exclusivity in the sale of a business would make it illegal for him to even be negotiating with another buyer. like I say though i am not a lawyer and maybe it depends what's put in them.

I know a couple of people have said it would be announced by tomorrow, i don't think it will.
A guy I know said he had it from a very good source it would be Friday, I was told that Thursday gone but he said he couldn't share the source so i'm taking it with a pinch of salt.
I'm just gona keep my powder dry and say what I always say which is I will believe a take over when I see the new owner waving the keys at me.
Ashley doesn't usually fool me but he got me big time with the BZG take over last year.

This Henry Mauriss fella sounds like a better option. Has a plan to run the club like Liverpool. But that takes time and he isn't an Awab man. I wonder if this was the second bidder that Richard Keys was talking about? He said Ashley would prefer to sell to the other bidder.

Just because the Saudi regime are a bunch of c*nts doesn’t mean Ashley isn’t. It’s not a competition. Reporting that he’s asked his poorly paid staff to take a 10% wage cut is hardly a dig.

So why the need to mention it then? What does it have to do with the takeover or NUFC?

Hope is an absolute cretin of a journalist and well suited to the Mail.
