That's exactly the point. People were and still are. We are told Russia, North Korea and Iran are horrible, bad countries who are our enemy.

Saudi Arabia, Qatar and UAE are nice countries who are our allies. They are our allies because they pump billions in Western nations.

If this takeover had a link to Russian or Iranian State funds, the deal wouldn't get off the ground.

Serious question.... why does it upset you so much? There’s so much misery right now why get upset at a few Newcastle fans on a Newcastle thread having a chat about a possible takeover?

It doesn’t upset me, I am too long in the tooth for that. I just don’t get it. You are appearing from nowhere around the time of this takeover which is strange in itself when you could be celebrating/discussing/debating in your own forums. All I politely asked was why?

Which makes very little sense as contracts signed for l Saudi led one and it’s already gone to PL to be signed off. I’m very confused. I would ignore it when it does but will chase up 2mrw

It might be that the premier league say the other deal won't have all the connected outrage and they tell Ashley this one can go through quicker the other may take a while. Sounds like Ashley games to me. Remember when other offers were in for us and Donald swooped in at the last minute.
