I get it, but this was countered very eloquently by another Newcastle fan yesterday.

We could take the same moral arguments to those other Middle Eastern, Chinese and Russian owned clubs.

I can only comment I never saw any of the same moral outrage when Litvinenko or Boris Nemtsov or Anna Politkovskaya were assassinated. Please do not pretend that Abramovic does not owe his wealth to Putin’s patronage.

It leads me to think there are ulterior motives to the newfound explosion of morality on this board.

Anyway, I have pledged to stop antagonising you all. Frankly, we should be thankful for good health. There are more important things.

The family are about to give applause on the doorstep, must go.

So basically you can’t think of anything that you would consider low enough for you to object to him owning your club. I think that just about sums up the kind of person you are.

I can think of loads of things they could do which would result in me objecting vocally to them owning my club, if they run it detrimentally for a start.

My views on the Middle East, the regimes that run them, their politics, their religion and cultures etc is exactly the same now as it was before there was a sniff of them buying the club and those views won't change after they buy it if it goes ahead.

While my views which I feel are both moral and reasonable would quite often result in me being accused of being a bigot, a racist, of being Islamophobic 6 months ago ......those very same views have me being accused of being an apologist for how did one of you put it....... not condemning these vile evil backward people.

How life changes eh.
