Sunderland. Donald bringing in Jim Rodwell in a senior exec role. So that doesn’t suggest a sale any time soon. Rodwell ex Scunthorpe.
 
Someone just told me that his reputation at Scunthorpe is known for "budget cutting".

And given the way the statement is worded and who owns the club, is this really a surprise?
 
Sounds like no chance of a sale any time soon. No one would want the current owner making major appointments like that, and presumably the bloke wouldn't be jumping at the chance to come if he thought he might be straight out later. That aside, I hope he does well, we've needed a bit more structure for a while and he must be an improvement on having Donald making all the major decisions
