And the Newcastle fans are turning a blind eye to it!!!!

Read the replies under this.

Obviously it's fine, because "Sheffield United", "City", "royal family" "UK government." Conscience clear.

Some other points to note:

Amnesty International -
"I think this feels a little like an image building exercise by amnesty international drawing on the prestige of Newcastle United fan base"

and

"Amnesty is the most pointless international human rights org"

Ashley -
"How come very little was said about Ashley and his mistreatment of workers having to give birth in toilets 86 ambulance calls first team to furlough and tried to keep his shops open for karrimor trainers......." (what the fuck are karrimor trainers by the way?!)

and

"But they had no issues with Mike Ashley exploiting workers with zero hours contracts, snapping up struggling companies, his stance on Covid-19 or him running one of the biggest clubs in Europe into the ground? Yet feel they have to speak up now?"

and

"There’s already a human rights issue with the current owner"

And, of course...

"I couldn’t give a fuck about what they think just give me my club back."

One thing allowing yourself to look the other way. It's another to become the PR machine for the regime, making their excuses.

Why would Amnesty International be bothered about Newcastle being 'ran into the ground'?😂😂😂

The morons putting Saudi flags in their names and photos of the prince in their profile are pretty tasteless

Was always going to get that reaction. They’d be outraged by these disgusting people trying to play the Geordie nation if they were penniless. Selling their souls for this. I hope they get hammered for it.

Cue bitter Maccums retorts.
It's an incredible piece. Basically calling them out as opportunistic "do-gooders"

Doubt it. Only the top 6 team supporters will be unhappy that their exclusive club is getting a new member. I'd love for another team to break into it I just wish it wasnt f***ing Newcastle

I think the opposite will be true. The top 6 will see this takeover as making things more competitive and more interesting, while all others will see it as yet more evidence of the exponential depletion of football as a societal game.

I think the idea of Sportswashing is obviously a dirty tactic of distraction against horrific inhumanity. Since we live in a stable liberal democracy there’s always going to free speech against people like MBS, that won’t be silenced, like it would be in other countries........
It’s just very shameful it’s been celebrated by Newcastle fans.

Luke Edwards calling out The Mag. Fair play.

I’m not sure this is very helpful or wise to describe a very important charity, doing incredibly significant work, which has the sole purpose to highlight human rights abuses and crimes as a “publicity stunt.” In fact, this is an awful take on things

Just shows the modus operandi of Newcastle fans. No morals

A publicity stunt

Why would Amnesty International be using this as a publicity stunt? Isn't highlighting things like this Amnesty's job? Isn't it their job to influence people to oppose countries that carry out human rights violations?

If Amnesty International can't influence the Premier League on matters like this, it shows how much the PL cares about money.

Unbelievable isn't it. How dare they try and raise awareness of what's happening under that barbaric regime.

f***ing truly embarrassing that. Luke Edwards is spot on for calling it out on twitter. The fellas running the mag want shot with shit.
Luke Edwards n Bruce had a right fall out just before football stopped. Bruce called him out and refused to talk to Edwards during his weekly press conference, saying Edwards was talking bullshit about a rif between Bruce and St Maximum...or whatever he's called.
