Buying a house is completley relative. £40k on top of a mortgage could be £100 a month. 25 quid a week. I don't know you but I'm pretty sure you could afford £25 a week, but you'd try to get the best deal possible. You would 100% hold out for a deal closer to the value of the house
 
their under-23 team will be very strong next year, with a few foreign wonderkids added. We can benefit from this with a few loans, especially if Middlesbrough come down. Where are you going to want your star kids going if you're a top coach? Here or Boro? No more Clarke-Salters please.

Depends on what your point is ? She has already mentioned feeling uncomfortable able the regime. With regards to football ownership, I'd imagine they will run a very tight ship which will be transparent and open. Therefore she will have no reason to push further. I'd imagine she would also tread fairly lightly considering the government's approach to Saudi politics and how potentially beneficial it will be to the area.

You realise the fit and proper test explores finances and ability to run a club, not what you get up to outside of the game?

Really only when you lot get overly concerned about the welfare of Newcastle United. That is our preserve. We now stand to have a club back that wants to try. That is enough.

I will never bother with a Sunderland thread. How about that for a compromise? There really is no point in me getting involved in debates about Max Power being the modern day equivalent of Gunter Netzer.

The schadenfreude is cathartic but there are so many other things going on. Too much of a good thing dulls the pleasure.

By the way, nearly 200 pages.

I agree, but it just go to show the strength of feeling against it, and, with Amnesty International having no obvious links with us I doubt our resident mags can accuse them of being jealous
